GoodNewsEveryone, I got the impression that Satellite was addressing Peggy Lane's marveling at the lack of JFK Jr. conspiracy theories, not taking issue with the fascinating information (which, ew!) you provided. Sorry about the info - kinda gross, I know. Goes to a page that doesn't work...?

Oh, poo! You prolific link-clicking Greecies have worn out the bandwidth for the day on that Geocities JFK Jr. conspiracy page! As for the Diana-was-pregnant-when-she-died rumors, didn't they mostly crop up from those photos of her taken on Dodi's yacht just days before the crash? I remember seeing them, but not thinking she was at all pregnant—just bloated from either constipation or pre-period-ness.

How mortifying, though, people speculating you are pregnant when you are just bloated, lol.

The JFK jr death doesn't have that many (or at least mainstream) conspiracy theories because, really, other than having a famous father, he wasn't doing anything at the time. And his wife and sister in law weren't politically relevant, either. Also, those little planes crash all the damn time and he was not an expert pilot. As a celebrity, he was interesting, but he wasn't yet relevant in any other way.

...egh. Though I don't have links nor am I prepared to produce them, I'll throw my hat in the ring as someone who thinks there's at least a chance he was murdered.

Debut post, whoohoo and hello!! Try accessing the JFK Jr. story via the site's home page -- the JFK link is about halfway down the center column. There's some seriously odd but captivating stuff on that site. apologies in advance if I botched up the hyperlink!

I don't think there was any grand consipiracy regarding 9/11 because I just don't think that the government is that organized. Not to get all poltical-ly, but Katrina proved to me that this administration isn't really strong with the vast organizational skills. Yeah, these folks may be clever, but there is clever and then there is genuinely intelligent. Now, I can see Bush's folks getting briefed by Clinton's people, and then blowing off whatever warnings they gave about Bin Laden for no other reason than that it was Clinton's people telling them to keep their eyes peeled. Remember Condi recalling with a straight face the August Presidential Daily Breifing that flat out stated that Bin Laden was poised to attack the United States? In the first half of 2001, they were still riding high on their 2000 win, and I can totally believe that people in this administration would think that they were beyond the reach of any possible misfortune.

Going back to my JFK Jr post, when it all went down in 1999 I thought that the tabloids conspiracy theory was going to be that with a sinking magazine and a paprazzi growing more intrusive JFK Jr decided to take a powder and his wife took along her sister to begin their new lives.
I'm at a loss as to why anyone would murder JFK Jr, really. And I don't think that they faked their deaths, I just thought that it would be the kind of notion that the tabloids would have been all over.

PeggyLane, it's funny, when it all went down, my very first thought was that it was a faked death and they ran away from the scrutiny to go live on an island or something. I actually really kinda believed it until I saw the mourners. I can't see anyone doing that to their families, and if the families knew they weren't really dead I can not see that staying secret for long. I just love conspiracy theories. They really get my blood pumping -even the ridiculous ones. I think it's because my family is of the old New England "don't talk about ANYTHING negative ever" school and growing up, I had to practically do investigative journalism to find out about anything that had ever happened in my family.
