Dwanollah, you have just described me. I seem to be determined to make all of my Sims - no matter what their career paths or ultimate life-goals - world class novelists. I suppose that might have something to do with the fact that I've always wanted to be a published novelist - but I wouldn't like to speculate.

I make sure that I give them fantastic houses with everything they could ever want, however. 20000 Simoleans just isn't enough.

I agree with More Cowbell--for me, the best upgrade I made, in terms of Sims performance, was to buy a new Graphics card. I got a Radeon for about 300 dollars. I also have a newish computer. It runs so much better.

I seem to remember a cheat telescope that will make you get abducted by aliens all the time for Sims 2. Any idea which site it is?

And anyone can recommend another good sites for downloading? I love playing with my sims but don't like the building part (yeah, i know, weird), so I would love to download houses (without cheats). Thank

I don't have Sims 2, but Parsimonious seems to have houses for download. I don't know how good they are, but if their Sims 2 stuff is as good as their stuff for the original game, you're in for a real treat.

And if you don't have the cheat, does it ever happen? Except for the Curious brothers, I mean. So far, my Pascal has had 2 alien kids and my Vidcund has had 1. But I'd like my other Sims to have some, and it's not happening.

I think it does but very very rarely. And me being the impatient man wants it quick. It's easier for family planning too.

Game Spot

Has anyone seen the demo for the sims nightlife yet? I wish they had came out with this expanision first instead of university, it looks alot better.

University was sort of a disapointment, I haven't bought it yet. I'm looking forward to the Nightlife expansion. I heard from some E3 coverage that Will Wright is supposedly working on a new game (I'm not sure if it's supposed to be a sim game) and the commentator said it's going to be one of the best games ever. I haven't heard anything else so I'm really curious.

The game Wil Wright is working on is Spore. Looks like the idea is to evolve life from very basic molecules to intergalactic planetary systems.

One of my university neighborhoods is all screwed up. The game took houses from the actual neighborhood and plopped them down in place of the university buildings. So what's listed as the student center is actually Joe Bob's house. I'm afraid to try to load anything.

Is Sims 2 available on Playstation 2 or any other video game platform?

Yes, I was at The Sims 2 website and there's an article posted saying that it'll be available on all the consoles and handheld devices Fall 2005. (Sorry if this has already been answered)
