I have the Seasons EP and my two youngest children, a toddler and a baby, are freezing. The social worker came twice, but I killed her with flies, so they haven't been taken away yet. How do I warm them up? My toddler actually grew up while freezing, so I tried to get him to warm himself in front of the fireplace with no luck.

Ok, I have been contemplating getting this, and after reading the past twenty pages or so, you guys have sold me. I have a question though- Amazon has used copies for sale. How does that work? I figured you can only register a game once or something like that. Should I just pay the extra five bucks and get it new?

I got an opened, used expansion pack off eBay that worked just fine for me.

I threw a birthday party for my Sim, I invited the max 2 guests, both of whom were friends with my Sim, and no one showed! What happened?

If so, was it just before midnight? People won't show up after midnight. Is their room on a 2nd or 3rd (or higher) floor? I've noticed people tend to freeze as they go higher.

I threw a birthday party for my Sim, I invited the max 2 guests, both of whom were friends with my Sim, and no one showed! What happened? I had that happen before for a toddlers' birthday party. It was planned for about 4 in the afternoon, I invited seven or eight people some of which were considered best friends, and not one showed up. I guess some of them might have been unavailable, working or whatever. I didn't know Sims would confirm an invite. I don't remember it happening before. Yes, that was the problem. I did some googling and discovered if you use attic space it's not considered an indoor room and they'll freeze. I was playing the Pleasant family and most of you have probably seen how their upstairs is set up.

I didn't know Sims would confirm an invite. I don't remember it happening before. They usually say something like "How nice of you, I'll be right over" - or something similar, anyway.

When I call each individually they do that, but when I choose "throw a party" when I click on the phone and invite them, I don't recall anyone of them confirming. I probably just don't pay enough attention to all the little conversation bubbles that pop up.

Right, I don't think I got a confirmation for "throw a party" but when I then invited the people individually they came over. But my party score was a disaster. How do I raise that? I wondered if I had something to do with the fact no one actually came over from my invitation.

Put them all in the hot tub. You'll get a roof raiser party by the time it's over. That's what I do and it works like a charm every single time.
