1. I can't seem to handle having more than one person in my households. That one will come with more practice. When I first started playing, my Sims were constantly screaming at me (and getting visits from the Social Bunny!) and it was very frustrating. But now I can even handle the Ottomas bunch. The secret, like you said, is pausing the game when you need to. Same thing: practice. I used to build nothing but ugly, boring "boxes" at first. There are tutorials out there (at ModTheSims2, for example). You can also look at houses other people have built for ideas (and download them so you can modify them as you wish). Is he playable? Then just go into his house and buy him one. Otherwise, next time she sees him, get her to ask him to move in. (She can always kick him out later! At least he'll be playable.) Oh, and most nannies are lazy and nearly useless. But I've had a couple who were really great with the kids. They get good tips. (But they can't train kids - only family can do that.) It's under "Build - Terrain". Sometimes it doesn't work very well, though. Depends on how much ground you select and where the hill is located.

Thank you so much. I was worried I had missed something, but I'll just keep practicing then Yeah, I know, that's the tools I use. I can't seem to do anything with the circles that raise the ground up and down. The ground just turns into useless lumps no matter what I do.

Btw, the nanny sucks. Usually, I fast forward when my adult Sims are at work, but the other day I decided to watch her while my Sims were away. She doesn't do anything with the kid, except feed him and change his diaper. (Because it's obviously too much to ask that a nanny potty train the kid she's watching!) She watches TV or just stands around doing nothing. My nannies almost always do housework while the kids are sleeping or playing. Most of the time they clean up the house before the maid even gets there and I end up paying the maid for nothing. Thank you so much. The ground just turns into useless lumps no matter what I do. I think once you use the circular tool to raise the ground, you can use the level tool and make the ground all one elevation. Just click on the area that's raised to where you want it and drag it around to the rest of the ground.

My nannies either play electric guitar, torch the kitchen with burnt pies, watch TV, or piss themselves all over the place and then sit in the bathtub. I hate them!

I can't play more than 1 Sim either for the reasons that semicolon wrote. They always yell at me! Well, I do turn off their free will, so it's not like they can just get something from the fridge when they're hungry. I like to control their every move. Muahahaha!
Has anyone had a Sim who had 3 bolts of chemistry with another Sim? I can only get Sims with 2 bolts, even when I pay the full amount for the matchmaker (Camryn Cho?) to set them up.

I hate them! ;D Some of mine have peed themselves too. What is up with that? And it's the same thing during a party or a wedding: everyone either pees themselves or suddenly has to leave due to "bathroom emergency" - therefore ruining the whole party. What the heck? Sometimes there are, like, 3 bathrooms in the house! Does anyone else get this? Because I really don't understand it. Yup, it happens often enough in my game. Right now, my Lincoln Burrows Sim has those with Jenny Smith. Her creepy alien husband has finally croaked, so they're engaged now.

When young Gilbert Wyatt met Johanna Hill, his three-bolter, he immediately tried to hug her right away. That made their initial getting-to-know-you a bit awkward, but they quickly worked it out. Numerous chess games later, they're happy newlyweds.

Casino Bride, your pictures are wonderful! Lincoln Burrows Sim is a cutie I guess I will have to hold out for 3 bolt chemistry. Hopefully it'll happen for my Sims.

Almost all of my Sims have someone with three bolts. It's hardly ever their spouse though. It's usually someone really old, or just plain ugly. I'm always so disappointed when my hot Sims are attracted to the ugly ones.

My latest sim, Amy, had an affair with the wealthy and successful businessman Jacob. He's married and has two children. His wife, Alexandra, was NOT happy, kicking the trashcan over at least once a day. Amy "accidentally" got pregnant and now she has twin boys, Jonah and Elijah. Jacob couldn't care less about the boys, but he still calls Amy on a regular basis. She now wants to get engaged to her neighbor, James, but I don't think I can handle one more person in the house. She'll have to put a lid on her slutty ways, at least until the boys are older.
The nanny still sucks. The boys were screaming bloody murder, but she was busy sitting on the porch reading the newspaper.
