We have gotten Lio in it's place. I don't think I like it very much.

We're getting more puzzles. The crazies are already asking for Blondie to comeback.

Why do people like the strips that are the same lame storyline again and again?
Blondie, Gasoline Alley, Dick Tracy, Orphan Annie and Family Circus make me gag when I see them. I guess that is why I read my strips online. Plus there are some strips that are only webcomics anyway that I am addicted to.

We got "Get Fuzzy," which makes me very happy. I missed having the strip in my paper (I had it sent to my e-mail, which just wasn't the same.)

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch got "Lio," and let me just say that the Sunnyhorse household is so far unimpressed.
Does anyone else who reads "Funky Winkerbean" think that Wally's gonna get blown up in Afghanistan and that Comic Book Guy John (whom I've always liked better and was disappointed for when Wally came home and claimed Becky) will wind up marrying Becky? It's either that or Tom Batiuk is yanking our collective chain by doing a lot of foreshadowing.

I didn't like Lio when it first appeared in the LA Times, but it's grown on me; it did take several weeks, though.
The LA Times has replaced Foxtrot with a comic strip called Tundra. The San Diego Union-Tribune is trying out different strips. The first one is Dog Eat Doug, which isn't impressive thus far.

We had "Dog Eat Doug" for a while, and it sucked hard.

We got Get Fuzzy to replace Fox Trot. I've never had a cat that evil, but my dogs are about that dumb, so it's good for a laugh.

Prickly City bit the big one in the Chicago Trib. Yeah!!!!!!!! We also lost Foxtrot. For replacements, we got Ink Pen and Lio. Yeah, but they also dropped Candorville, which I loved. So far, I'm wildly unimpressed by Ink Pen. I'm reserving judgment on Lio because today's was kind of good. At least the Trib still has Doonesbury & Sylvia.
