The impression I got from what I've skimmed is that the family plans to continue the strip, using whatever leftover ideas there are (or that they can make up.)

So, that amounts to "Prayer in Schools / Intelligent Design / Mocking modern science" on constant repeat with an occasional caveman joke. Gotcha!

Vomit. Sunday's "Blondie" strip has a Dancing With The Stars joke. Nevermind that that entire strip is still stuck in the 1950s, it can make groovy pop cultures references and prove it's still hip, man!
Grrr. Why don't they cancel these crappy old strips and give someone with actual talent and creativity a chance? I'm so sick of the same old comic strips running forever.

Today's Lio is brilliant. I think it might even top Ruben Bolling's Super Fun-Pak Comix.

I'm enjoying today's Garfield strip. It's probably not intentional, as Jim Davis tends to keep the strip very light, but if you think about it, it's a nice social commentary. link

The past week of Pearls Before Swine has been a downer. This strip practically makes me want to weep: linky[/color]. I know they're just little cartoons, but it's so sad!

Wait, my paper is running a different one. I thought they looked familiar, but I figured the artist was on vacation. *scampers off to investigate*
