Could someone please explain to me what the smurf is going on in Funky Winkerbean this week? I get that the cat is apparently some manifestation of Les' angst, but HUH?

Apparently she made her last appearance as a hallucination to Funky when he was battling his alcoholism.

Honestly, it's kind of childish the way the Pearls Before Swine guy is constantly ripping on the Family Circus, but I hate the Family Circus so much that I always laugh anyway. So I hope he keeps on doing it. ;D
