I found a German version of a Stephen King novel at Crown Books the other day, and it was called "Sara". The cover design reminded me of Christine but, not able to speak or read German, couldn't figure out anything, even character names. Do we have any German Greecies who can figure out that one? I don't speak German, but German Wikipedia says it's Bag of Bones.

Heh. I was thinking of the same thing yesterday when we had a lot of fog around our neighborhood. I kept eyeing it warily waiting for some nasty long-leggety beastie to come lurching out.

Under the Dome the Summer TV Series. Now I have more reason to finish the book.

A series, not a miniseries. Huh. In other words, they're hoping for more than one season. I'm not optimistic about this.

I wonder if it will be somewhat like American Horror Story?

I just really don't see how it could work as a regular series.

Hmmm, the EW site says it won't necessarily follow the book completely. I'm curious enough to watch and see what they do with it. That said, I wish it had stayed on Showtime or had gone to cable instead. Broadcast tv is too impatient for shows to pick up huge audiences.

The television adaptation of Under The Dome is rolling along. Here is an article with quotes from a main writer and the director. It's relatively long and very informative. It actually got me excited about the show and tentatively relieved that the story is in good hands. They've already mapped out the first season and have a series finale, which will be different from the book, in mind. This link has the first footage from the show. It looks well-made and pretty compelling. Of course, they've prettied up some of the main characters and I'm sure they won't be what we expected after reading the book. For example, Julia Shumway will be played by Rachelle LeFevre (from Twilight). Barbie - Mike VogelJulia - Rachelle LefevreBig Jim - Dean NorrisJunior - Alexander KochJoe - Colin FordNorrie - Mackenzie Lintz

I am excited for this series, and much, much more so now after reading the article you linked. Thanks for sharing that.
