Speaking of Finders Keepers, End of Watch, the last book in the trilogy, comes out in a couple months. King's doing a book tour to support it and I so would've loved to hear him speak, but he's not coming anywhere near me.
Also, besides The Dark Tower, IT is supposed to start filming sooner. Pennywise is still, for me, one of his most terrifying characters.

I am a longtime Stephen King fan, but the one book I could never get into was The Dark Tower, so I never read the entire series. However, based on your input Famvir, I may give it another try.
My most treasured possession is my rather tattered paperback of 'Salem's Lot that King signed for me in person.

I read that Syfy commissioned ten episodes of The Mist as a tv series. I wonder if it'll leave off where the movie did. Should be interesting.

Meeting Steve is one of my bucket list items ! I was just thinking today about my summer vacation in Maine when my siblings and I were teenagers and were all reading Stephen King. We did a tour of landmarks mentioned in his books, like the giant Paul Bunyan statue in Bangor that comes to life in "It". We got directions to his house from the proprietor of a local bookstore (this was pre-internet) and took photos in front of his house. He's got very tall, wrought-iron gates that have a bat design - which I think is just to amuse the looky-loos who stop by. That's as close as I think I'm going to come to meeting him.

I've seen pictures of his house, and I LOVE it. He probably figured that fans would be disappointed if he lived in a cute little bungalow with a white picket fence.

In once again reading 11/22/63, I got to the "Gotta" part, and promptly was up until 3 AM this workday morning reading it. 2nd time in a row.
I should have known better.

Just finished "Mr. Mercedes." Grueling! Dare I read the rest of the trilogy??
This was my first Stephen King in about 25 years. I used to be an addict.
