I'm watching all of the Epic Rap Battles of History. My favorites so far are James Bond vs Austin Powers, Steven Spielberg vs Alfred Hitchcock, Rick Grimes vs Walter White, and Nikola Tesla vs Thomas Edison.

This one is runway models falling down. My favorite is at 3:32 but 1:42 is pretty great too.

Thanks for those links, Ginger! I saw the link above at DailyKos, but I was able to find it on YouTube. A meowing cockatoo wanders among three cats meowing at them. The cats aren't quite sure what to think, but they respect this bird. Or maybe they fear him, not sure.

They've been around for a while, but has anyone ever seen the Hillywood Show channel? These two sister make great musical video parodies of things like The Walking Dead and Lord of the Rings and Supernatural and such. (The reaction videos to the Supernatural one are as hilarious as the video itself)

I think my favorite is the The Pirates of the Caribbean since they paired Jack Sparrow up with his one true love. (Plus the song is damn catchy!)

I also love the latest one for Sherlock. I've never even seen Sherlock, so I'm sure I'm missing tons of meta and in jokes. But it's just so cool when they dance on the stairs and by the pool that I keep watching it over and over. So fun!

Pardon my double post, but I wanted the time to be right on this. Right now 3:32 EST, there is a live stream kitty cam and it got all Blair Witchy for a moment because the cat just knocked over one of the cameras! BWAH HA HA! I gotta stop watching and get back to work. But it was a hilarious live moment and I think the cat is about to go for one of the other cameras. Sorry I think moment will be over by the time I post this, but I had to share!

In what has become an annual tradition, Youtube has just published its end-of-year "Rewind" compilation of some of its most popular videos in 2016, which serves as a sort of snapshot of current pop culture, particularly youth pop culture.

So, for a middle-aged guy, I think I'm somewhat current on today's pop culture, but if my recognition rate of the faces in this video is any kind of yardstick, then, yikes, I am seriously out of touch. For those who watch the video and feel similarly disoriented, YouTube kindly provides a cast list near the end of the video.
