I'm an Elizabeth. The quiz said this means I'm boring and yeah that's true. What a choice? To be a pushover or a borderline sociopath. It wasn't until I got online did I discover I wasn't alone in my hatred for Elizabeth and Jessica. It seems most girls in my generation read these books even though they couldn't stand those two! I'll say it- Elizabeth was a whiny Mary Sue and Jessica was a prototype vamp who still managed to be boring. *prepares to be stoned*

LMFAO, another 1BRUCE1 here!
This is me! Why did I read so many of those books? Why? I even read some of the damn University series. And that really fucking bizarre special book where they both got dolls for Christmas and were transported into not-Narnia. What the hell was that?
Maybe Elizabeth and Jessica's unlikeability made it easier to believe all the ridiculously horrible shit that happened to them. "Well, yeah, they kind of had it coming. Team Motorcycle Concussion!"

Yeah, you'll find no argument here, auroranorth! The most positive interpretation of Elizabeth I heard was from a friend who said something to the effect of, "well, at least you can speculate that Elizabeth might be getting some sex from her monogamous boyfriends." Which is still dull dull dull. Well, monogamy can be fun, but...you know.
I think the only character duller than Elizabeth was Tricia Martin.

I enjoyed how all the Elizabeths died tragically in the Wakefield Saga book.

I enjoyed how all the Elizabeths died tragically in the Wakefield Saga book. LOL, oh God, wasn't one of them in the French Resistance and got killed by the Nazis? I feel like I should be retroactively offended by that, except that I'm laughing too hard. The only other reincarnation I remember was the circus-horse lady.

And no, ALL the Elizabeths didn't croak in the Saga... it was every other generation, first an Elizabeth, then a Jessica. But I don't remember the last Croakage, so I don't know who should get it this time around, Liz or Jess. Either would be richly satisfying, frankly.

I don't remember the Jessicas croaking. I remember the Jessicas being redeemed by the Elizabeths deaths. The first example of this was when Elisabeth was killed in a tragic circus horse incident and Jessalyn becoming a better person because of it.
I think the FR character was a singleton, but yes, some insanely funny shit there.

Twins 1.0: Elisabeth and Jessamyn. Elisabeth dies in a circus riding accident (Jess is a bareback rider), and Jess survives. She has two daughters and a son (natch).... Twins 2.0: Amanda and Samantha. Samantha backstabs Amanda and ruins her relationship with a Wakefield man, so Amanda cuts her off. They reunite when Samantha dies in childbirth, and Amanda raises the kid. Twins 3.0: Elizabeth and Jessica. So hey! This means that Elizabeth is due to die in Twins 3.0! Yes! Bring on the vampire-serial killer-motorcycle accident!

I always thought of her as a combination dishrag and mirror, because there was no there there.
