I have always seen Ted King (Charmed, General Hospital) as Morelli. Ranger is my own creation as I can't find an actor that fits in my mind. For Steph, and you guys will hate me for this, I see a taller Leah Remini or Drea de Matteo. And for Lula, I see Monique.

Ooh, I like Drea de Matteo as Stephanie, not so much Leah Remini. I always saw the woman who played Fran Drescher's grandmother on The Nanny as Grandma Mazur. I had to Google Ted King, but he's another good choice for Morelli.

I always picture Grandma Mazur exactly like Sophia from Golden Girls only much taller. I know Estelle Getty is in poor health but that's the image I have in my head. Right down to always carrying around the little beaded purse.

My mom and I were discussing Morelli and Ranger and we could not come up with anyone decent. We both thought it was because they are described as being so hot that it's a different person for every woman.

Did I hear a rumor once-upon-a-time that Reese was already attached to a possible movie or did I imagine that?

That is who I see as Grandma Mazur as well. I just couldn't think of her name at first. It's Ann Morgan Guilbert btw thanks to IMDB.

I also see the Dad (Dan Lauria I think) from the Wonder Years as Stephanie's father.

I'd love to see Ted King as Morelli, probably because I loved him as Andy, back when I actually liked Charmed. Not that it will happen though, they'll probably get a name....
