Okay, so we all know Perez called will.i.am a faggot, right? Gawker post about that here. Also, The Advocate wrote an article on him before that incident, but the online version has an updated statement from Perez. Basically he's exactly what you thought: an insecure bully who finally got in with the cool kids and can't understand why everyone doesn't love him now. I kinda can't believe I read the whole thing. Also! He finally admits he has ghost writers! Can he go away now? Actually, I haven't purposefully read Perez in years. But occasionally I'll click a link not knowing it's going to his site, and the few times I've lasted longer than 2 seconds I did notice that the writing was not quite the same as when his site was PageSixSixSix (which I read). It has a different tone now, almost like an illiterate press release. More gossip news: a chat with Michael K! He's exactly as wonderful as you suspected! |

Really? Wow. I never really thought about it or knew that it was a rumor, but now that I know it's true, I am pretty surprised. I mean, why? What else is he doing?
I do read Perez daily, I'm not gonna lie. Calling will.i.am a 'faggot' was horrible, though. I considered boycotting him after that but... I got a lot of time to fill during the workweek...

I check Perez out of nothing but boredom. DListed makes me laugh out loud though. Michael K is hysterical. Perez is a nasty looking asshole. Michael K cracks me up too. He's hilarious! I love his obsession with Phoebe Price. |

I dunno about DListed. I sometimes get really sick of the childish, crude language. It isn't funny anymore to me. I thnk I need to find someplace else to get my gossip cuz it really is starting to bug me.

Faded Youth has good scoop and is only slightly snarky. Then there's always Just Jared, which is completely snark free and has lots of good pics. These and Dlisted are the ones I visit daily. Dlisted is still my favorite, though. Sadly, I don't think I will ever be mature enough to get tired of it.

It's one thing to make a crude joke if some dipwad leaks a sex tape but I've seen DListed go there where a celebrity's just walking through an airport. Too much of it crosses a line with me. |

Ted Cassablanca has always been a bit lame but he just completely, utterly sucks now. The new format (articles instead of a column) is so thin sometimes there's just one article a day. And at least 1/2 of them are about the Twilight cast. It's just really not worth the time it takes to click on the link in My Favourites.
