I think it depends how academic you are and how academically rigorous your university is. And what you're studying, of course. At my university getting less than a 2.1 would be considered not great, unless you struggled with academics. For example you generally need at least a 2.1 to get into grad school. Personally I missed getting a First by something like half a percentage point, so I'm just bitter. But yes, she did very well. But then I don't think she went to a very academically rigourous institution. A 2.1 from St Andrew's would be considered a better degree.

Considering she majored in History, I am impressed. Will may have gone to St. Andrews and received a 2:1, but he majored in Art History, which I think is Communications for the upper classes.

Nothing to add except that, while I'm sure she's a sweetheart, she is so unfortunate looking that I almost feel bad for her. Isn't there any way for her to fix her horsey teeth? As a poster upthread mentioned, she can barely close her mouth around her gigantic teeth. Her eyes also always look surprised, so combined with her giant mouth... *shudder*
*slinks away feeling bad for bashing her looks*

I imagine braces could do some good, but it seems like the English in general aren't big on them. Even if she did get braces, she'd be sure to get raked over the coals in the press about it.

My mom says Beatrice looks like a puppy who got caught in the rain.

I thought he changed to Geography. I think she and her sister are both pretty. Beatrice seems to be a weird mashup of both parents, and definitely looks better at some angles than others.

I thought he changed to Geography. So he did. My bad. I think Eugenie's by far the prettiest of all the adult royal grandkids. Bea isn't bad looking at all, especially for a royal. I think what hurts her the most is usually her wardrobe choices. Not only the outfit she wore to the royal wedding hideous, but really unflattering. When she wears a decent outfit and her hair looks nice she can look lovely.

Bea isn't bad looking at all, but she dresses like she's built like the Duchess of Cambridge instead of embracing her curves-at a recent event she wore a Vivienne Westwood corsety dress and looked really good.

Hmm..I know recently Bea wore something sort of corsety and fitted and she looked good, but I'm too lazy to look it up-maybe it was at Ascot?
