Considering she majored in History, I am impressed. Will may have gone to St. Andrews and received a 2:1, but he majored in Art History, which I think is Communications for the upper classes. I think Kate majored in Art History.

Mom's face looks puffy and tight, and dad sure put on the pounds. But mostly I'm surprised at how small Beatrice looks next to them. Is the grass all out of whack uneven or is she really that much shorter than her parents?

Seriously, it seems that a prince of the realm ought to be able to afford better tailoring for his jacket!
Congrats to Bea. I'm sure she had tons of academic support, but it's always good to see a fellow dyslexic graduate!

Bea tried hard, she wasn't seen out and about during terms despite living in London, I think the degree was important to her. Now to find a job! I guess Andrew's trying to talk "the firm" into letting her be a full time royal, but Charles has put his foot down. I agree with Charles-its one thing if she came to them and said "i'm going to work with x charity, is that okay to do as 'Princess Beatrice of York'" but it comes off as Andrew and Sarah wanting her to not have to work so they get more money off the Queen

Jeez. Let the girl chart her own life. Actually, I hope she marries Dave and gets away from both of her parents.

For interested parties, this is the program she was in: History & History of Ideas. It looks pretty interesting, an interdisciplinary program of history, religion and political philosophy.

She would be so much better off with a real job- her mom is an excellent example of what can go wrong!

She would be so much better off with a real job- her mom is an excellent example of what can go wrong! I do think its Sarah and Andrew who are being pushy about her being a fulltime royal. Its unfortunate because Charles has been saying for years that when he's king he'll streamline the monarchy (one of his better traits) so why start her now when in ten years or so she'll be out anyway?

I think Andrew is used to getting his way with dear old Mom and hasn't yet clued into reality.
