Two nephews. Two years old. One holiday. Hit me.
Actually, I'm thinking of something that would be easily portable and would occupy the time of kids that age, preferably with little to no noise. They'll be traveling a long distance for the holidays and last year the adults didn't take it so good. I don't think anyone wants to repeat the "our flight is delayed, great, we'll walk you around the airport until you get tired please don't cry again" game.

Board books with flaps can entertain two year olds fairly nicely, but "quiet" + "two year old boys" don't go together well. A couple of cars might keep them occupied in the waiting area.

I want to get my guy something Futurama-y. Would a comic book store be a good place to find that kinda stuff? I can't shop on the internet.

Yes. They actually make Futurama comics. There are also Futurama playing cards (in a Slurm can), and I'm sure they have other stuff too.

The playing cards sound awesome! There is a comic book store on my way to work, so I'll have to take a peek when I get around to it.
Thanks!

Alright, my aunt's mother is turning 80 and I need a b-day present idea. I can't really get her something for her house, because every surface is covered with knick-knacks and family pictures. Same with the walls. She's very heavy and she's diabetic, so I'm unsure if I should get her a gift card to someplace where she'll have to be out all day.
Normally I wouldn't bother, but she's a nice lady. So is her daughter, so I'd actually like to be nice this once. Any ideas? Thanks.

Flowers, maybe? Something she doesn't have to keep around. Concert tickets might work, or a museum membership.

I'll just have them sent because I won't be there. I just have to make sure they arrive after the party--it's a surprise party. Wouldn't that be great horrible if I ruined the surprise?

Any suggestions for a gift exchange? We're doing a random gift exchange, so this has to be a pretty generic gift, something aimed at 20-35 year old women. The Christmas party for this job is on Sunday and I haven't gotten anything in mind yet.
So far I've thought of chocolates or a journal, those are the big ideas. Oh yeah, and the limit is $15.
Suggestions for anything slightly interesting?

Last year I gave a mini cookie flipper and a couple of gingerbread man cookie cutters in the random office gift exchange. I'm not sure if people actually liked them or not, but it's a thought.
