A week later and I'm still reading nurses' stories--I'm trying to make them last!

I've been reading too!
Is anyone else a little skeptical of the rose petals manifesting out of thin air story? That same poster had the demonic possession story, which also sounded off.

LOL, I think the whole board is side-eyeing the flowers from nowhere story. Like, who cleaned them up? What color were they? Did they have a scent? No one took pictures? Luckily the other ones make up for that one.

Snort. So funny. Like, ghosts I can deal with, but messy ghosts? Come on! This is a hospital! We have standards.
But yeah, that one is too out there to not have been reported on somewhere. I love the other ones. I'm still making my way through.

I gave up on those stories because a lot of them assume that the reader is well-versed in what a nurse's working life is like. Not a criticism - it's a forum aimed at nurses, after all - but some of the details were lost on me.

Oh, I was googling all sorts of acronyms. Unfortunately I've got too much experience in hospitals--as a patient and relative--so a bunch of them I knew offhand.

On the same nurse's site as the ghost stories there's a thread about gross nurse stories. Pretty entertaining as well, in a grisly way.

So in the original post on the NoSleep subReddit, I swear I got nonstop goosebumps the farther I read into the comments. YEESH. I refused to open half of those photos.

I know this sounds callous, but my take on that Reddit FB haunting stuff is...not a real ghost. I was sort of toggling between sick freak who is torturing this poor man for no reason and hoax, but finally went to 'hoax.' Can't decide if I think it's the alleged mother of the allegedly dead girlfriend or the poster himself, but the whole thing is too well-thought out for me to believe it's paranormal. Too many things that strike me as 'guy doing stuff he thinks a ghost would do.' Also, I think there are lots of things a ghost can do, but operate a FB account isn't one of them. Neither is take photos outside someone's home. (I write allegedly dead because in my experience, people who would do this type of thing for attention are not above making up a dead loved one.) ETA: On a related (though no more believable) note: Text messages from beyond the grave. E-mails from beyond the grave. Apparently, ghosts are getting tech saavy these days. ;-)
