I have an eBay v. Poshmark question. I have a lot of NWT/EUC stuff from Talbots and Lane Bryant. Would I have better luck selling on eBay or Poshmark, in anyone's opinion? And similarly, does anyone have opinions about selling items in lots, or is it better to list each item individually and then give shipping discounts? I've never sold anything, but when you list, would you mind pm'ing me your listing info? I sort of love Talbots....

Divaspawn1 told me that Poshmark was better for gently-worn, relatively new, trendier, more expensive, designer/higher-end/name brand pieces; eBay is for more "broken-in", older, less expensive items. One exception--she has actually had great luck on eBay finding gently- or never-worn dance shoes for less than half what they would have cost her brand-new. YMMV, of course.
I would pick a few pieces that you're looking to sell, and compare/contrast listings for the same or similar items on Poshmark, eBay, thredUp, and any other site you're considering. Another friend went so far as to create a spreadsheet when she was downsizing her closet, and that helped her determine the best places to list each item she wanted to offload.

In case this helps your decision making, someone I know who works in e-commerce said that when they studied Poshmark, they found out that you typically have to have greater than 10 items listed before you make a sale (anecdotally, I have found that to be true, too).
Poshmark also requires a bit more active selling than eBay (sharing your listing every so often to keep it at the top).
(Also, is there any reason you can't list on both sites at the same time?)

I don't see why I couldn't have simultaneous listings--I've seen several in my research. Some stuff if definitely going on eBay, like things from Pin-Up Girl, but others I'm really not sure about. I guess I could try... Thanks for the analysis, too! One last question: does my buyer profile boost my seller profile? As in, should I--I mean, my friend--buy more often to boost visibility? Sidebar: I bought an amazing vintage Benetton cardigan last night. It's like teen me and present-day librarian me are colliding.

Advice please! I bought a vintage table and chair set on eBay after the dealer confirmed they could deliver to my town. Then, after I paid, the dealer said she could only go to a town an hour away from me ("because they charge more to go across state lines" which, no). It's more of a hassle than an expense, but still. Should I ask for the sale to be canceled?

I would. I’d ask the seller first and then open a case if they say no or don’t reply.

OK, thanks. I'm gaslighting myself because it's a cool MCM set, but the dealer did say other people were interested so I put that back on her.

If I wanted it, I would politely but firmly insist that she deliver the set as promised, and definitely let her know that you will open a case if she doesn’t follow through.

Now that I've finally fessed up to my MIL that I don't care for Pandora, I feel free to sell my bracelet and charms. Has anyone done this before? Is it better to sell the whole kit and kaboodle or each charm one by one?

I know nothing about the Pandora market, but I would sell the pieces individually. You might also want to post on Poshmark.
