I am having to pay attention to Halloween for the first time ever this year. Halloween is not widely celebrated in Australia and there was certainly no tradition of it when I was growing up but it does seem to be becoming more popular among the kids these days.
My 4.5 year old might be going to "big school" next year (when kids in my state turn 5 between January and the end of June in a particular year, you can send them to Kindergarten that year or hold them back a year) and the school we are thinking of sending him to is having a "Halloween disco". We are going to have a look at the school and to see if little b can make some friends. We are starting simply with costumes and I have just bought little skeleton onesies for little b and baby b. They both look super cute!

I lived in Australia in 88-89, when I was 14/15 and I remember my classmates grilling me on Halloween, because it was only something they'd really seen on TV. They were fascinated that trick or treating was something that we actually did.

I bought a bee costume last year and was a zom-bee. This year I'm recycling it and being Bee-witched.

I have lost enough weight to return to the Hippie costume, which I haven't been able to wear in about 5 years. Very happy about that. Not happy to have to go to a Halloween party tonight after work, at a former co-worker's, and then have to be at an 8 AM meeting tomorrow. Happy Halloween! Costume Picture Time (My Facebook Account.)

A little early for Halloween this year, but I had no idea what I was doing and wanted to get a jump on it. P decided she wanted to be Bonnie Puppet from Five Nights at Freddy's. I've never done foam headpieces before, but why not try? I present: P as Bonnie Puppet.
