My 2 year old is going to be Freddie Mercury. He's pretty headstrong and actually loves watching Queen videos, so I figure this is my last shot at imposing my will on him. I got a sheet of mustaches yesterday.

I don't think it's possible to do a sexy Donald Trump, myself. But someone may prove me wrong.
For the tall kid/short kid combo, how about a tall, oversized Robin paired with a pint-size Batman?

He is partial to the "Radio Gaga" performance from Live Aid, but I'm going to have to get him going on "We Will Rock You."

P debuted her Halloween costume today at Cleveland ComicCon. We both entered the Cosplay contest. She won Kid's Best in Show with her Evie (Disney's "The Descendants") costume. Oh, and I also won "Best in Show" for my Xena costume. Not bad for our first Cosplay contest! Halloween update - P went Trick or Treating in her Evie costume (it was a hit), and Rat and I tagged along. He dressed in the Kodachrome costume from a few years ago, and I threw together a quick Paul Simon costume. Mama don't take my Kodachrome away..,

Our Halloween party is having a rather vague Clue theme (minor decorations, some of the family dressing as characters) and my middle child has made my week by asking to be the Lead Pipe!!

My adorable little angel faced one wants to be The Grim Reaper. Last year she wanted to be a devil, but not the cute ones. She's already planning to be the scary guy from Scream next year. I said, why not a kitten? Princess? Fairy? Monkey? Unicorn? Nope. Death. Lead pipe is hilarious Middle child should announce entrances to each room like "Lead Pipe is in the kitchen with..." "Lead pipe is in the Dining Room with ...."

I got off easy this year. P decided on her costume a while back and it was stupid easy to throw together. Sorry to disappoint! James from Pokemon
