That is such a great picture. I hope you blow it up and hang it somewhere prominent.

My oldest childhood friend was in a band with the author of Daydream Believer, John Stewart. I met John a few times, and even opened for him in Cleveland once. I guarantee, he would have found that hilarious! Is that the "Music Into Gold" guy??

It is indeed!
True story (from his lips!): he didn't like that song. His label was bitching for a hit single, so he wrote one. Then got his friends Stevie and Lindsay to play and sing on it. The were big John Stewart fans.
I was never brave enough to ask if he "borrowed" Rhiannon, or if Stevie was influenced by him and Lindsay produced it that way, chasing the required hit.
That's how my buddy ended up in his band. He had written a song that, while we were recording it, had the working title, "Dave's John Stewart song." When Dave played it for him, he held up release of his own album so Dave could join the band, put that song on it, and add vocals to a few tracks, to make him an "official" band member.
John told us once that he was very happy he never got any bigger than he did. Seeing Stevie and Lindsay's situation in Fleetwood Mac was his idea of the worst possible thing!

Grrr, Amazon has an item listed as Delivered and it is NOT! And I need it to finish my kid's costume. Now I'll be finishing up on Tuesday morning instead of today as planned. So annoying.

I'm probably not going to dress myself up for Halloween, but yesterday I picked up a Darth Vader mask (for my Touken Ranbu puppets) at the thrift shop, and I got to thinking, you could combine it with other outfits for all kinds of silly-pun costumes:
Darth Waiter (or Darth Cater-Waiter) Darth Maid-er Darth Hip-Wader Darth Tater Darth Grater Darth Gator Darth Raider
ETA: I also got a Transformers mask for 25 cents, and it just hit me, one could pair it with an Amazon box and be Amazon Prime. If I can find a suitable box in time, I might actually wear that at work. I like that kind of combination of low effort and terrible joke.

That’s great! Side note- I love how he has a male, age appropriate assistant.

There was an eleven month old boy at Trunk or Treat dressed up as the little old man from Up. Complete with a walker with tennis balls. It was one of the cutest things I've ever seen in my life. He was swarmed with "peoplerazzi" all night.

That's the FOURTH Shining Twins I've seen this year. What gives? I've also seen a bunch of Where's Waldo, and there were 3 Richard Simmons at the ball I went to. That one I kind of get, since that podcast was this year, but not the others.

He was swarmed with "peoplerazzi" all night. Baby B is 14 months and this was his costume. He is OBSESSED with his walker toy, so I knew he'd have a blast if he could run around with it for Halloween. I only managed to get one decent picture, and that's with my husband's foot on the walker, because he couldn't be stopped otherwise.
