What Are You Wearing Today?

If I do say so myself, I look pretty damn cute today. Cream-colored cardigan, purple & dark brown dot-print top, dark brown pants and sand-colored wedges. Because the top has a wrap-style v-neck, I've fastened a pearlescent flower brooch to the top where it crosses over the seams of my bra (no undue cleavage, no bra perimeter showing) and it kinda matches my pearlescent earrings.

It occurs to me that every item I'm wearing, save the shoes, was purchased at NY&Co at the mall. I'm actually okay with that.

I am in my stay at home mom wear today. Jeans and a grey long sleeve top, both bought at Old Navy. If I do happen to throw on shoes it will be my hippie sandals, cause I live in sandals even when it is 50 degrees outside.

I never wear matching bras/undies unless I'm going out on a date. And since that last happened back in the Stone Age... Heh. I just consider myself lucky that half my stuff is black so at least the colours match.

Today, I look ghastly and I'm perfectly fine with it. My old, slightly ripped 501s; a 2-toned navy and blue baseball t-shirt that used to belong to an Ex-BF; flip flops; my hair (unstraightened and mega curly, ugh) up in complete mess; and nail varnish that's badly chipped on one hand and which I really should take off (but which I know I won't until way later).

Laziness and Sloth..... Thy name is Kafka. ;D
