This thread has already made an impact on my daily dressing. I was looking for a shirt this morning, saw my brown Polo, thought of JenniPoo, and put it on. I looked DREADFUL today (unlike JenniPoo's cute Polo ensemble). The brown Polo, my favorite (decaying) jeans, battered pink Crocs, hair in a ponytail. Not one spot of makeup besides some lip balm. Honestly, this is the one day in the semester that is completely class free, so I spent the day in the library. Totally comfy.

Oh I don't know, Brookie, a pair of Elsa Perreti diamond earrings would definitely lift me out of any kind of blah mood.

It's disgusting how much Polo stuff I have, but I never feel underdressed OR overdressed in it. Those skirts are awesome though. I always feel like I'm getting away with wearing sweats to work. Hee hee.

OK I got tomorrow's outfit picked out, since I may not be around much tomorrow I will share it here.

Turquoise sandals with Indian beeding
Stonewashed denim skirt from the Old Navy
Brown cami style shirt that is a bit flowy (as to hide my tummy fat) with turquiose beeding
and my chocolate colored military stlye linnin jacket.

Bwah, people! We are not talking about Oprah-like honkers but some diamond chips that I am well aware that I overpaid for.
If I didnt have to work today and meet with some clients. . . . . . . well, I still wouldn't have dressed any dfferent. When I graduated from college, I didn't even own a pair of jeans so this is progress for me in terms of casual dressing.

I am trying to get a more professional wardrobe and it's not working very well. I think I'm just going to copy all of you guys... Heh heh heh.

...I'm still wearing pajamas. But I showered and it's not like I'm leaving the house today.

Tomorrow I will wear my GAP jeans and one of my geek shirts (possibly "STFU" or "I less than three geeks") to my exam to revel in my last few days of non-working freedom. I might wear the pretty necklace I bought from the market downtown, too! And some running shoes... probably brown.

Tomorrow I'm wearing my cream and brown plaid (with turquoise running through), wide-legged, cuffed pants with a turquoise knit short-sleeved top and cream nine west sling backs. At least I'll wear the sling backs until 4:30, at which time I'll change into my runners, stick the shoes into my suitcase and head to the airport. I love those shoes and they look awesome with the pants, but I don't feel like manoevering through the airport in them. Plus I'm meeting Deadduck and the kids at the ball field straight from the airport and I'd just sink into the ground.

On the weekend I'm going full casual. We can't wear jeans at this client site (although all the client staff does) so I like to squeeze it in on the weekends.

Today I wore a black fitted cardigan over a plummy tank top and some black satin cigarette pants. Boy did my legs look long today.
