Whoa, colour me impressed! I have recently started knitting, although I only have one completed project so far- behold, the monkey backpack!. I also completed a sweater for the Knitting Olympics, but I have yet to start binding the seams. I don't like working with heavy materials during the summer, so it'll probably sit in my projects basket until September. During undergrad, I used to make arm warmers as gifts for friends. They were a big hit, and let you get away with wearing tees or 3/4-length shirts a bit longer than usual (a plus in Canada!)

And thanks again for the nice compliments, you guys!

Ride (and take care of the horses), run, read, garden. I'm not very creative, I'm sad to say.

I sleep with one eye open, tinyshoes, and two ankle biters.

I'm kidnapping ankle biter #1 as well. Does he like bacon? And peanut butter cookies?

Peanut butter cookies wrapped in bacon and tied with string cheese would be a hit. Sigh, ankle biter #2 will have his dream fulfilled of being an only dog.
Topic: I accumulate stationery, as I still have penpals from grade school, along with friends in all corners of the earth. Plus, writing and receiving letters is one of my small joys. So Saturday is usually stationery/book buying day.

Okay, here are some pictures of the portraits I have drawn. These are all famous athletes....I used to draw and sell them to people and made some pretty good money. It's chalk pastel and about 16X20. Michael JordanJoe MontanaMagic JohnsonOkay, this guy was a Redskin for like, 5 seconds. He didn't cut it, he's not even in the league anymore. Heath ShulerThis one is from where I waited all day at a hotel to get Troy Aikman's autograph. Check out my bad hair. It's actually hard to see the portraits in this one....I kept the one where Troy is facing forward and gave him the profile one. Troy AikmanPhew, okay, before I end this post, I have say, spordelia, you are REALLY, REALLY talented.

I like to read, and I have this habit of buying cookbooks that may or may not ever be used for anything. But they look pretty on the bookshelf!
I also like to cross-stitch and other needlework projects. I have some pictures somewhere of some of my stuff, I'll see if I can get them uploaded soon. Because of this, I have too many paper mache boxes with my projects on the top. They're good for keeping all the jewelry I own but never wear.
I started a scrapbook for all of the ribbons, pictures, certificates and stuff from all the years I did 4-H, but I haven't gotten very far.
