Yesterday I said I was going to have a tomato and cucumber salad for dinner. I lied. I had Pad Thai from Pei Wei instead and it was goooood.
Today I have had a fruit salad and coffee for breakfast, and am having Indian food for lunch. Which probably means gas all afternoon, but it's worth it!

I've decided to trick myself into believing that I'm eating healthy today, since I've been eating trash lately. I had some cantaloupe for breakfast, and for lunch I'm going to my favorite salad place. Of course, my favorite salad has avocado, bleu cheese, chicken, turkey bacon, and ceasar dressing, but at least it's a salad!

Late Snack: Vanilla Jello Pudding Pop I know this came up in the I Just Learned That thread a few months ago, but I can not find Pudding Pops in my stores! I'm so jealous when I read someone having one. *pouts*

I couldn't find them for the longest time. I was over the moon when I saw them in the fridge at Shaws. I got the box that has chocolate, vanilla and then a chocolate/vanilla swirl. So good!

I had a farmer's panini - fresh mozzarella, basil, tomato and walnuts drizzled with olive oil on ciabatta. So good.

Breakfast: Granola and coffee. Morning snack: Nectarine, then cuke slices. Lunch: Trader Joe's mac 'n' cheese. I tell myself it's not so unhealthy because I don't finish it. PB sandwich cookies. Dinner: Hot dog(s) and beer at the ballpark. Hot dogs always taste better at a ballgame.
Yesterday we had a greasy buffet for lunch for work (boo), but Mr. MWG and I went out for a celebratory dinner that included foie gras, so yay!

I assume it gets its name from the fact that it is really quick to make, but I am not sure. I think it is German because when I googled it to find out the origin, a few of the links also called it Blitzkuchen. It's kind of dense and springy. I'll post the recipe in the cooking thread.

Breakfast: A PB&J sandwich on whole wheat. It just felt like that kind of day. Lunch: A soy bratwurst and a granola bar. Dinner: No idea. Hmm. Maybe some steamed broccoli and rice? I'm feeling like I need some broccoli, for some reason. There will, no doubt, be some kind of sweet snack after dinner. I frickin' deserve it today. What to eat, what to eat .... hmmm. Maybe some vanilla ice cream and fruit. That sounds awesome to me right now.
