honey was paid a visit by the organic food salesman so he brought me a bunch of samples which I've been grazing on all day Newmans Own Hermit cookies= yum Master Zen Party Mix = sorta yum Garden of Eatin Tortilla Chips = yum Bare Fruit Apple Chips = yum (the guinea pigs say yum too) Nature's Path Optimum Rebound = the foulest thing that has passed my lips in ages...the cat, who loves sniffing my breakfast cereal, took a sniff and ran away like satan himself was chasing him.
Note to Nature's Path people: Matcha Green Tea in a breakfast cereal wasn't a good idea, it just doesn't taste good with oats and almonds. Putting a line on the single serve bowl package that indicates how high to fill the milk is a little insulting to the cereal buyer's intelligence.
ETA: Snowberry, stuffed peppers should be almost all beef, with the rice acting more as a condiment than anything. mmmm....big pepper ball of beefy goodness. I think I know what I want to have for dinner tomorrow.

Trying to be good, but it ain't easy!
Breakfast: Asparagus, mushroom and cheese omelet, glass of V8 juice, blonde decaf coffee Snack: Stick of mozzarella cheese Lunch: Crab Cobb salad, sugar-free jello Snack: Sugar-free, skim, decaf mocha; turkey and mayo rolled up in romaine leaves Dinner: The second half of that shoe leather tri-tip steak I bought last night, the last of the leftover roasted veggies, more s-f jello and s-f pudding
I just realized - all my meals and snacks were eaten in front of computers today. **hangs head in shame**

Breakfast: Super ripe peach, coffee
Lunch: three Trader Joe's meatballs, eaten cold while standing in front of the fridge
Snack: handful of crackers
Dinner will be: more TJ's meatballs, slathered in jarred sauce (yeah, me too, Pickle!), then topped with fresh mozzarella and put under the broiler til the cheese gets all melty and wonderful.
I've been cooking so much lately and am sick of it. Taking a break tonight with that dinner. I'm sure by tomorrow I'll sweating over some complicated nonsense once again.

Breakfast: Raisin bran with soy milk, an orange, and a cup of Earl Gray tea with Stevia.
Lunch: A garden salad with tuna and no dressing from Au Ban Pain, a jalepeno and cheddar bagel, and water.
Snacks: A croissant between breakfast and lunch, a bag of Peanut M&Ms after lunch, and half a veggie sandwich and a little salad left over from a catered lunch meeting around 4 PM. Man, I really pigged out today!
Dinner: A small chicken salad sandwich on a little wheat roll and water.

Tonight I made a super simple salad in which I thinned out some homemade guacamole with homemade salsa to make a "dressing" (which consists of lots of tomatoes, shallots, avocado, lime juice, and jalapenos)stuff along those lines. Served it on a bed of arugala with poached turkey breast. Yummy. I want more.

supper: chicken, tarragon and shallot-based saute dish thingie cooked by boyfriend (was delicious), arugula and parmesan salad also made by boyfriend, who has this really, really stupid idea that I don't eat enough green veggies (they're disgusting and god wouldn't have made them taste so foul if he wanted me to eat them. clearly god wants me to eat poutine and ice-cream)
right now: 2x Sleeman's beers whilst boyfriend sleeps off the jetlag and I Greecie it up
