Oooh! The Boy is off tomorrow night, so I want to cook dinner together. Now I know what we're making! I love this board. It's super easy. Put the head of a fennel bulb, two bay leaves, a teaspoon of peppercorns, a dessert spoon of kosher salt in a saucepan with lid. Cover with 5 cups of water and bring to the boil. Boil for five minutes. Remove from heat. Put salmon fillets (no skin) in saucepan and let it sit there (with the lid on) for 15 mins and voila! Ready! And I had mine with fetta because, really, fetta makes everything better!

Breakfast: Kellogg's Smart Start Healthy Heart cinnamon raisin cereal - with extra raisins Lunch - pb&j on whole wheat, pepsi mid-afternoon snack: 6 dried apricot slices pre dinner snack: 8 Kellogg's All Bran garlic and herb crackers (to give me fuel for my exercises) dinner: salad, and my leftover cod with peppers and onions
And all told, about 100 oz. of water.
This thread will probably kill my diet because I'll want whatever you guys are eating.
Yossarian that sounds so good! The salmon really cooks all the way through?

Yeah, the salmon cooks all the way through - that's using a piece of salmon which is roughly palm sized. If you were worried though I'm sure that an extra five minutes poaching wouldn't hurt. And, those ingredients were for two; if cooking for more I'd add an extra spoon of salt.

Breakfast- I just had chocolate milk because I woke up late and was going to have lunch soon.
Lunch- Leftover pepperoni pizza.
Snack- Wheat thins, havarti and red pepper spread.
Supper- As soon as it's ready, I'll be eating spaghetti squash and Shepherd's Pie. God, I am getting impatient! So hungry...
I'm sure I will have like a zillion snacks this evening, too. Hopefully popcorn.

B'fast: raspberry yogurt, two scrambled eggs with spinach, and a can of tomatoes (I at least had the decency to put them in a bowl and not eat them straight outta the can) Snack: a pear, baby carrots Lunch: almonds and a diet coke. Oops. Not the best lunch ever. Snack: 2 small plums Dinner: whole wheat spaghetti with puttanesca sauce, broccoli.
Liberal servings of coffee and also water throughout the day.
Now I want a beer.

Man, this thread is killing me. It figures that the one day I've hardly eaten, is the day this thread pops up! Everything you all just listed, I want. All of it. Now. Today, all I had was some animal crackers, a Special K protein bar, some pretzels, and a bag of cheddar popcorn I was so busy all day, that I just kind of forgot to eat a real meal. And now, my stomach is definitely letting me know it's not happy about that! Just one more hour till I get off work, and then it's (a very late) dinnertime.
