I love spruitjes and stroopwafel (though maybe not together). We had some amazing shrimp and smoked salmon for dinner last night. There was salad, but we never got around to it. Today, I've had the last of the macaroons I bought at a Christmas market, a slice of panettone, and some spiked eggnog. Lunch will be the little bit of vegetable soup I have left, and probably fish sticks, because why not. Christmas dinner is bolito misto, a mix of meats that have been cooked down to make a broth for the cappelletti that will start the feast. And some of the salad we didn't get around to yesterday. And if there's room, more panettone. And lots of wine. It's too early for lunch, so I might go eat some cheese.

Coffee & Baileys Almond, pumpkin cheese roll, "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" on TV (one of my absolute favorites). Off to a good start.

I made a charcuterie board for Christmas Eve with husbands family last night. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.

That looks great!
Going to my sister's today. We're having pork roast (one of my faves) and her MIL is bringing her home made ravioli. Not sure what other sides, but those 2 things alone makes me happy.
Merry Christmas, everyone!

Yesterday my friend made a baked ham with a Coca-cola and brown sugar glaze with cloves. We just hung out in our pajamas and gnoshed on it throughout the day and will continue to do so today. I made a breakfast casserole yesterday and we're finishing it up this morning. The main event will feature ribs and sides with a sweet potato-pecan pie.

I made "Pho" in the slow cooker yesterday. I don't love how it turned out, but hoping to make it better tonight (we're having the rest for dinner).
For lunch it will be some leftover pasta turned into a soup.

Just checking in to report on the "evil little cabbages."
They were a hit at our Christmas shindig.
Unlike the lemon-garlic roasted cauliflower than never made it to the party when I slipped on the ice and fell on my ass.
Cauliflower everywhere, but the sprouts were safe. They landed upside down, but the foil stayed put, so the afternoon wasn't a wash.
Bonus: both my Pyrex casserole pans survived.
Unlike my dignity.
Also: big disappointment on the farting front, alas.

Nothing. I've eaten it all.

Is “too much” an acceptable answer?

Is “too much” an acceptable answer? Yep. Today I have had; Breakfast: The last cinnamon bun Snack: Coffee smoothie Lunch: Cauliflower Mac n'Cheese with an apple Dinner: Persian fish and rice (The Roomie) with a smoothie. Today was a workout-palooza. Weights/hiit/abs + legs. I wanted the food.
