Did you have an apple and some Cool Ranch Doritos, or Apple and Cool Ranch Doritos? Because if the latter, ew.
I really want a greasy breaded fish sandwich for lunch.

I had an apple and some Cool Ranch Doritos. I've got some standards...somewhere.

Man, I'm the one that asked for this thread, and on my first day out all I've had is water and coffee. Not a good start!
Lunch will be a turkey wrap with pepper jack, lettuce, and roasted red pepper hummus on a whole wheat tortilla.
For dinner I'm having a tomato and cucumber salad with veggies from my grandpa's garden, and probably some tuna. I ate like a big pig all weekend, so I'm trying to be really good this week.
And of course dessert is Vanilla Double-churned Breyer's, with some frozen strawberries tossed in.

I had a multi-grain english muffin with peanut butter and raspberry jam and a banana for breakfast and a nectarine a little while later. It's lunchtime and I'm starving, but looks appealing. Maybe a hummus wrap?

So far:
Breakfast in the car: Slice of whole wheat toast with Meyer lemon marmalade (yummm) Breakfast at work: packet of Indian Nescafe (since there was no coffee made) with splash of organic milk, and Strauss Family Creamery yogurt with swirl of strawberry-raspberry "Fruit Friends" jam
I like to have two breakfasts -- I get hungry on the way in and feel like I need to get my metabolism started, but need either another breakfast when I get to work or a mid-morning snack.
I'm going to try to go to spinning at lunch, but when I get back, lunch will be a small spinach salad with walnuts, white corn (sorry - heh) and a little shredded cheddar w/ TJ's balsamic vinagrette, and an Amy's Organic frozen burrito.
Going out for fancy Vietnamese for dinner!

Breakfast: english muffin with peanut butter, banana Snack: pretzels, 2% cheddar cheese Lunch: chicken pad thai, sauteed snap peas and carrots, chocolate caramel cookie
Dinner will either be a vietnamese noodle and vegetable salad with caramelized pork tenderloin, or roasted vegetable and barley salad with feta.

I envy all of you people getting to eat Vietnamese food! I love all the good Indian food you can get her, but I haven't seen a single Vietnamese restaurant anywhere. And only one Thai place. Sadness.
I just finished my chicken tikka. I added a red pepper to it to make it spicier, along with onions, mushrooms and green pepper, over rice. And, of course, tea.

Starskin, did you say you made your chicken tikka from scratch? I'd love the recipe if you wouldn't mind posting it in the cooking thread! I just looked up a recipe for caramelized shrimp (which I love at a local Vietnamese place), which I'll post after I try it!

I just looked up a recipe for caramelized shrimp (which I love at a local Vietnamese place), which I'll post after I try it! Oh I wish! No, I just got the regular jar sauce and added my own stuff to it: a red chili pepper, some paprika, and a little fennel, plus all the vegetables. However, for homemade curry, this[/color] is a recipe for a chicken tagine which is easy and really tasty. Just don't use as much water as the recipe calls for, or else you'll get soup!

Yum, thanks! One question - what is a swede, and a courgette? A zucchini? Or kind of different? Thanks!
