Also, my skin--after only one day, is visibly better. Thank you Lush! I love you!

Heeeelloooo!! I'm back, and although I would have loved to have been hired on the spot, that didn't happen. I think the interview went well, he interviewed four of us at one time ( which was how Macy's interviewed us when I got the job at the Estee Lauder counter in California). So I think based on *me*, it went well. The only things that make me nervous are: 1. He wanted a resume, and I had asked him, "Do you just want one for retail? Because my regular resume is 18 years worth of admin assistant stuff". And he said, "Yeah, just include the retail experience in with it so we can get a good sense of the whole package." So that made me nervous, because you guys remember from back when I was job hunting that I have very little confidence in my resume. I think it it looks jumpy, and I have alot of stuff on there, and it just makes me nervous. Then I had to add in a retail section on top of the other jumble that's on there. So that's got me kind of antsy. I think I came across better as myself than I do on paper, but still - he's now got the paper! 2. I'm worried that since I can only work Saturdays and Sundays that they won't feel they can hire me for so few hours. He didn't seem to act like it was a problem, but when I had the Christmas job at Bare Escentuals a few years ago, I worked just weekends and weeknights after work, and it was really too much having a full time job on top of it. And I had asked the manager at BE if I could not work the weeknights, and just do weekends, and they had told me no, that it was too few hours. But then again, in the long run, BE didn't keep on any of the Christmas help after the holidays, so I think there were other issues too. But anyway, the small amount of hours makes me antsy as well. But, other than that, I think it went really well, and if those factors don't ding against me, I'm hoping the good outweighs any bad! Please keep the fingers crossed!

Keeping my fingers crossed for you, India!
Just picked up some Aromacreme. Hopefully this works on the pits.

India - weekends are actually the time when we need the most help on the floor, so the fact that you can "only" work weekends shouldn't hinder anything.

Thanks, Brookie - that makes me feel a little better. I would think that it would be better that you could work on weekends because that would be when they're busiest, right? That's usually when stores would want people, I'd think. I think that it would be so cool if you got this and I bet that they'd rather have someone reliable with a regular job than some kid who just wants free product. Well, I would think that a reliable, mature employee who just wants free products would be better!

It took a lot of willpower not to walk off with the tester bottle of Potion at Lush today. I so wish they hadn't discontinued it. I ordered a large bottle of Chai shower gel and a bottle of Potion, along with buying a hunk of Coalface, a big bottle of Happy Hippy shower gel and a tub of Sympathy for the Skin (because all I seem to do these days is wash my hands, and they're fried - a dab of Helping Hands mixed with a dab of Sympathy leaves me with yummy-smelling hands.) ETA - good vibes to India for getting the job!

Oh! Forgot to mention that of course, I bought a couple things before I left yesterday! Loaded up on more of my Angels on Bare Skin, and got the new bath bomb, Sugar Rush! It's so yummy, it smells like cola! And then the guy who interviewed me asked me what samples I wanted - so I got a chunk of Buffy (didn't get to buy it the other night when I went, since they were out of the small size. So I got a King of Skin and an Aqua Mirabilis instead - love both of them so far!), and a little tester container of Tramp shower gel - which I tried a tiny bit of on my hands, and then couldn't stop sniffing my hands all night! I can't wait to get a big bottle of it!
