I was wondering if one should be started due to the amount of "LUSH Life" we go on about in the other thread.
Question Brookie. Tell me about the deodorants. Are they any good? I hear that I should use something without Aluminum in it (which most deodorants have). Do they hold up well to heat & sweat?

I want to know more about the lip balms. I'm addicted to chapstick and it's not a pretty thing. I'd like to wean myself off of it.
ETA: Squee, a LUSH thread!

I've used aluminum free deodorant for years now. I just got some Aromacreme the other day. It works really well under my arms. Not so well on my feet though, which is another area they suggest you use it on. To be fair, my feet sweat a freakish amount, whereas my underarms are pretty normal. Oops. Veered into TMI territory there. But yeah, I'm happy with it as an underarm deodorant.

I am no Lush fan, but the lip balm is grrrrreat. The trick is keeping it in your pocket so it stays soft. The regular/plain variety is tied with Kiehl's # 1 as my favourite lipbalm evah.

Oooh, thanks, I'll give it a try. Mr. Grumpy always says that I should just wear the lipbalm on a string around my neck because I'm so addicted!

Re - the deodorants. They are all aluminum free - so they are NOT anti-perspirants. LUSH's philosophy (and it makes sense) is that the body was made to sweat, but you don't have to smell like the north end of a zoo doing it. I'm using the Fuwari solid powder and I like it - I don't smell at all, I don't find myself sweating any more so than usual. (Our order of aromacreme didn't come in yet and we haven't gotten our official LUSH computer to put in an order of anything yet - boo.)
I'm just getting into the lipbalms. I tried some "Happy Talk" today - coffee flavored with some lip plumping spices in it (I didn't notice any plumping, but I put it on over gloss).
I brought home three soaps and a bath bomb today - all free, all because we have an employee bonus where if our average hourly sales are $35+, we get a freebie for every hour that happens.

And with every post Brookie makes, I wish more and more that our Lush were hiring...

Coffee flavored lip balm?! *rushes over to the Lush website* Dammit! I promised myself I'd quit ordering from there since they inevitably discontinue everything I love. haha. Just when I think I'm out, they suck me back in.

Thanks Brookie & Starskin. I'm afraid I am still using the bad stuff with aluminum.
I'll stop by LUSH later this week for a trial.
