I finally got to watch the last episode and the final. I loved the Katie bashing. At least she realizes how freaking annoying she is. "It's my sense of humor." No, it's NOT, it's YOU!

To me it didn't seem like Katie got it. It was more like she came out of the experience thinking that the others obviously have no sense of humour, while she is the funniest survivor ever.

Hmmm, maybe so. I thought her teary breakdown indicated she was "getting it", you're right, probably NOT! She was never funny, that is what I can't figure out. After watching the season how could she not see this?

Word to Katie's unfunniness. However, it seems like she saved her "charm" for Tom and Ian (and probably Gregg and Jenn) and sort of dismissed most of the other people on the island. It might be possible to win Survivor based on charm (has anyone done this, though?) but you need to charm everyone on the jury not just the people responsible for bringing you to the final two. I certainly didn't hate her and enjoyed the way that she did indeed use what she had to get to the final two but I just can't see why she claims to be the "funny one".

I would like to know who voted for Tom and who voted for Katie. Was Coby's vote the only one Katie received? I guess it doesn't really matter, I just wonder who Ian voted for.

I would guess that the only vote Katie received was from Colby. Otherwise we would have seen the other "Katie" votes to add to the suspense of the moment.

Hopefully Mark Burnett did a good job of casting the next group. This season was great and it might be hard to beat. The new location looks awesome and it will be fun to see them with an actual place to "live". I wonder how much cash they had to drop to keep the place environmentally secure?

Pictures of the new cast have been released. I cannot wait to see this season. Half of my family lives in Guatemala and we have been to some of the more remote areas--although it has been several years since I have visited anywhere but Guatemala City or Antigua.
