I really thought Ian screwed himself when he openly dissed Katie at the RC and took Tom. Especially after both Tom and Ian agreed not to let the girls spend time alone. I thought Tom was going to backhand Ian when he got into the car. I was really surprised that that one decision wasn't Ian's downfall.

I can't figure out why Jenn is still there, either. There must be something going on that they haven't shown.

I jure realized that the past few seasons haven't had clip shows. I always hated the clip shows and honestly didn't even notice they were missing until I thought about it. There must finally be enough people to cover all episodes so one doesn't have to be taken up w/ repeats.

Katie reminds me so much of Jenna Lewis. They resemble eachother physically (although Katie has a bit more meat on her). They both glommed onto a guy they thought would make it far in the game (although, I didn't see the first Jenna Lewis season, so I don't know if she did it then) - Katie onto Ian and Jenna onto Rupert. They both have big mouths and talk non-stop. They both got to go on a reward challenge at a fancy hotel/haven after a guy won a reward and chose them. They both made it to the F4, along w/ their glomming companion. It's kind of annoying, how much they have in common, actually.

Last season was the first season of Survivor I've ever watched and last night was the first episode of this season I've watched. But did Katie make the right decision to keep Ian and not boot off Karyn?

I do know that Caryn was like a rash on Tom. Always running with the news, and he wasn't promising her a damn thing.

So glad the big dummy Caryn is gone.

That being said, I'm glad Tom won. I would have been OK with any of the F3 winning.
Katie is the most hated Survivor ever on some other boards, but she never really bothered me. She was whiny and emotional, but Ian let her control him. Like she said at final TC, she had a game plan and she stuck to it, so props.

Stupid Jenn didn't even have a flame going when Ian's fire burned through the rope at the tiebreaker. And they had matches and kerosene! So glad she left when she did.

The most interesting part was Ian deciding to throw the final two endurance challenge and tell Tom that he would step down if Tom agreed to take Katie to the final two. He did a "Colby" at that point, dragging dead weight into a spot better than himself.

Was there any question at the final two that Tom would win? Because Katie seemed to have more then enough enemies on the jury, and telling Genu (sic) that she wasn't going to bother answering her question because she didn't expect her vote seemed snotty enough to cause the others to vote against her and ensure Tom's win.

Plus he was strong and won a lot of challenges, she was apparently weak, lazy, and mean to some of the others. And the fact that Tom was a NY fireman couldn't have hurt.

Ian is an idiot. So he gives up a chance at a million to save face on a show like Survivor? Nobody is even going to remember this crap as soon as the next tribe begins defiling those Mayan ruins.

Nobody deserved the prize except Tom because they were too stupid to vote him off when they had the chance.

I have never looked at the items they have for sale on ebay before today. And I am shocked at how many people are bidding on them and the prices people are willing to pay. And there are still 8 days left on the auctions.
