I'm pretty happy with the outcome, although I wanted Ozzy to win just a slight hair more than Yul, even though they're both awesome. I know every season, everyone brings "need" into it, and I normally hate that. Just give it to whomever played the best, you know? But last night, I just got that little feeling of, "Wow...Ozzy really probably could use the money more than Yul", even though I have no idea what either of their financial needs are. For two guys who played the game differently, yet who both played beautifully and perfectly (one with his brains and tact, the other by being an unstoppable challenge monster), I just felt like - well, Yul is a lawyer, seems like he has a very good education, and might make his own millions one day. Ozzy - he seems smart enough in his own right, but never had that college education that he'd like to have because the funds weren't there. I get the feeling his resources might have been limited for most of his life. When a guy who clearly has a brain is off doing porn and waiting tables because he can't afford college, it just makes me feel rather bad for him.

Well, Ozzy won $100K last night, right? So hopefully he can work on his education with that.
I would have been fine with either Ozzy or Yul winning, but I'm glad it was Yul. I've been rooting for him all along. I guess I was wrong about the "Final 3" thing screwing up the game, simply because it never really was a "Final 3." Becky was never going to win.

Yeah, the final three thing sort of fell flat. I wonder if it's specifically to do with Becky (and Sundra, as it would have been the same situation either way) or if that's just the nature of the game -- it will always come down to two.

I wasn't sure what to think about the final three, and I did feel bad that Becky didn't get a single vote (not that she really deserved a vote...), but you know, someone at TWoP made a really good point. A final three forces the jury to really think about who should get the money. Because if you have two powerhouses and one tag-along, then it's less likely that the jury will give the money away out of spite. It potentially eliminates, in a final two scenario, the stronger of the two keeping the least likeable person around "because they'd be the perfect final two partner", and getting the money because they're the lesser of the two evils. Once that point was made, I have to say, I really like the final three better than the final two. I mean, I know I'd much rather see Ozzy get at least $100,000 than Becky. Because if Ozzy had ever lost an immunity challenge, and they kept the same final two method, Becky would probably have been sitting there next to Yul, and Ozzy would have gone home with nothing (assuming he didn't win the car).

I admit, my first time watching this season was last night, but Ozzie looked positively shell shocked at being back on land. I mean, part stunned, part 1000-mile stare.
I also wonder just how close the votes for the car was...anybody think Ozzie got a sympathy-mobile?
ETA: He was a lot cuter all scruffed up and lean to me.

Ozzy looked so sad during the entire show. I just wanted to hug him.
And Sundra was simply stunning. She is a beautiful, beautiful woman. Inside and out.

I am a very, very happy woman Yul won! Nya, nya Jeff, your blatant attempts to turn people against him went nowhere. For the first time in Survivor history (that I recall), the winner is both likeable AND a good strategist. Who'da thunk it?

Jeff seemed to have a stick up his behind where both Yul and Jonathan were concerned. He was fairly vocal (negatively) about both of them. I don't know how much weight his comments carried though - people disliked Jonathan for their own reasons, I don't think Jeff's remarks much mattered. They evidently didn't care about his observations on Yul.

And Sundra was simply stunning. She is a beautiful, beautiful woman. Inside and out. So true. She seems like the sweetest person and my God does she clean up nicely. I always though she was real pretty on the island but I was floored at the finale at how gorgeous she is. Simply stunning.
