Another Yau Man fan here! Hope he goes all the way.
Dreamz is going to be very annoying if last night's episode is any indication of his future behavior.

Team Yau Man here as well. I thought he was adorable. And he was the only one who really left any impression on me. I couldn't even tell you any other contestants names.

I'm already very fond of the bats, and Yau Man. I laughed out loud when he got that box open.
Shut up, "Dreamz." The only thing worse than giving yourself a nickname is giving yourself a stupid nickname with a "z" substituting for an "s."
I'm tired, tired, tired of the "cannibalism" schtick. They've done that so many times. Unless they're planning to cook and eat the contestants instead of just sending them to Losers' Lodge, the producers need to quit it with the false advertising.

Yau Man is all sorts of awesome! Dreamz, on the other hand, can't go home fast enough for me!

this season has promise - I dropped Survivor last season in favour of NBC's comedies, but now I have a DVR so it looks like I can record Survivor. Yay!

Why would they list that one woman (Rita?) as a single mom? Does she not have a job? That's odd. To me, if they list "Bartender" "waiter" and such things it means "actor or model" The producers really screwed up after the first few seasons by casting actors and models instead of real people. (yup, that's what they were doing although they tried to hide that..and it became visually appealing but a snoozefest) It's the real people who make this show interesting, the older truck drivers, farmers etc, not the 20 somethings with the T & A. So it looks like they have cut back on it a bit.

I'm thinking the "single mom" might be the Nicki on Heroes kind of single mom, because she must do something to support her kid(s), and it must be something that they won't put on the screen.

According to her bio on the CBS site, she has an "image consulting" business that works with beauty-pageant contestants, and she's a tv spokesperson for a Texas supermarket chain.

In other words, she wants to use Survivor to break into "the biz".

Doesn't the tribe living the high life have an unfair advantage in the challenges? They'll be hydrated and fed, and will have slept comfortably. Or will they be over-confident, and lost accordingly; or become lazy because they don't have to try as hard for the basics? Time will tell, I guess.
It sucks for Sylvia that her reward for her mad architect and leadership skillz was to be automatically relegated to the losing team, and thus, the one without any amenities. When she returns from exile, she's in for an unpleasant surprise.
Otherwise, I have little comment about the players until they thin the herd a little. I'm happy to see fewer hotties and more regular-looking people.
