So true. It's people like him tha make the show interesting. Not the boring models and actors with fake boobs, bleached teeth and stick bodies.

And isn't it only the people from the earlier seasons (Colleen, Gervace, Elizabeth, Colby) who actually had some sort of acting jobs after the show? I haven't heard of any of the cast plastic bodies who got other jobs afterward.

What about that coniving woman that was on Colby's season? She got a role on Young & the Restless. Gosh, I can't remember her name, but she was always hanging in the water and was the bitch of the season.

Jerri Manthey. But her very modest, 15 minutes of fame acting success just proves prydainprincess's point that only a handful of early season hotties had post-Survivor success.

I still don't believe that the average viewer, which includes a lot of families/kids, wants contestants who are all young/buff/hot. And I wish - if they're going to cast someone over 50 - that they'd at least have a few in that age group. It seems they've fallen into the token oldster habit. Of course, that person usually can't keep up physically, and is booted early.

I don't count Jerri because if you appear on "The Surreal Life" that means you pretty much failed as a pop culture icon and are now fame whoring. Johnny Fairplay falls in the same catagory (HATE!) Forgot Hunter, though, who got the "Practical to Tactical" gig. I think he's the only post season 4 person with any kind of legitimate (ie, not another reality show) visibility.

I don't understand why MB doesn't notice that those who tend to become the favorites of each season are typically either older, blue collar, or not pretty (at least not Hollywood pretty). James, Yau Man, Tom, Ian, and Rupert are excellent examples. Why not cast a few like that so different people can have favorites? They did a minority Survivor, why not an over 40 Survivor?

Because it would be promo'd as "Survivor: The Elder Edition"? A 35+ or even 30+ would be great.

What are the ages of the all the winners over the years? Hasn't that also been skewed to the oldsters? And by "oldsters", I mean over 35, oldster for Survivor.

Pics of the "fan favourites" who will be coming back. Yay to the fact that there is no Courtney. I'm pleased to see James & Amanda back from China. Excited that Ozzy & Yau Man are back. Big boo to Johnny Fairplay - hopefully he gets booted early on.

Ami was one of the two lesbians from Pearl Islands which was won by Chris the NASCAR fan. Eliza was the law student who was in the final four in Pearl Islands. Jeff Probst's current girlfriend, Julie, was one of the castmates along with the drill sergeant and the one-legged guy.

IMDB has her birth year as 1973. Either way, I'm annoyed she's back. Her and Fairplay. Hopefully Yau Man and James will trounce everyone!
