The new cycle starts tonight! They're mixing up som contestants from Britain's Next Top Model with new American girls.

I've realized that I watch every season of this show constantly cringing.

I'm not sure about the new judge. She seemed to be complaining about the clothing and hair and things that the girls had no control over. And the girl who went home who had to be John Lennon really did get kind of screwed over. That outfit didn't look anything like Lennon and really, what pose was she supposed to do? She at least came out with a good 3D shot considering what she was given. Silly me, trying to make any sense of this show!

Ratings were down 54 percent from last year. I can imagine the cycles will get even more ridiculous and low-rent as the ratings get lower and lower.

I've only seen the first episode of the new season so far but gotta say I screeched when Tyra showed Lisa's Cover Girl ad while going over the prizes. That girl personifies "not fresh." Very bleached and tanned 40 plus divorcee. She'd look right at home hanging out with the likes of Taylor and Kyle on RHoBH. I bet Cover Girl was disappointed they didn't get Angelea. Did we ever find out why she was eliminated?

Ugh at Kelly Cutrone being the new judge. I'd prefer they keep Kelly Osborne. bleh

So Tyra dyes a couple of the contestants' hair ridiculous colors just so she can call them "shakeovers"?

The red-blonde-and-blue 'do is heinous. The chick with the pink hair looks pretty nice though.

I'm also disturbed by the British girls adoring Kris Jenner. I thought the Kardashian Kult was just a US thing.

According to ANTM's Facebook, the next casting call is for a collegiate edition. I wonder what gimmick will come next.

We get a version of E! here in the Netherlands, so I'm sure they're getting it in the UK. So yeah, the Kardashians have spread like a plague.

I didn't really get what they were looking for with the judging on this episode. It was all over the place. How on earth did they think they should keep the girl who was doing the duck lips look the whole time? The whole shoot was a mess.

And the hair. The hell? You don't do that kind of stuff to your hair permanently if you're a model! You let the designer paint some wash-out stuff for one show! I love a good funky colour, but that was just ridiculous and unreal. That said, I liked the pink.

I'm really not liking the new judge, either. I have no idea who she is, but she just seems overly bitchy.

That was ridiculous. I can't believe she dragged out her dumb book AGAIN after last cycle's finale challenge. And how some of the superpower names were so half-assed like 'Excite to Buy' and '30-Never' alongside stuff like 'Gam-a-Tron.'

How long is she going to milk this stupid book? It's awful! And I'm sorry, but Kelly Cutrone IS a rude bitch. Louise might not be an angel herself, but I think she was right to call Kelly rude. She seemed unprofessional to me in the way she started complaining and talking down to Louise about the running, right before she's about to go get her photo taken. I'm pretty sure you shouldn't upset the model right before she's supposed to work.

Kelly Cutrone was very rude but I bet you have to deal with alot of awful people in fashion, particularly when you are just a nobody young model. It's not even a fashion thing. It's just life. Sometimes you have to swallow shit from rude, more powerful people. It sucks but the sooner Louise learns that lesson the better. What got me was that Nigel wasn't even that harsh with her and she was giving him attitude. I've seen him be a total ass before and that was not one of those times. I don't think Louise is ready for the workforce at all, let alone the fashion industry where you probably have to deal with a greater percentage of awful people than average.
