It was supposed to start with Eric? I saw Graham Chapman. Very interesting!
It's sad how rough they all look, though. Terry Jones and Terry Gilliam definately aged the best. Michael Palin looks weathered and frail... I wonder if all the travel documentaries he made took a physical toll on him.

Our PBS affiliate showed the Idle and Chapman segments on one night, and we PVR'ed them. We watched Idle's first to get it out of the way because Idle is a jerk in real life and we miss poor dead Graham Chapman; we'll watch Chapman's segment tonight. Palin and Chapman are/were quite handsome, but I'd add John Cleese to the hot-Pythons list. "Now, Karl Marx, for that beautiful lounge suite ..."

I had the exact same thought.
I thought I knew a lot about these guys, but I had no idea that Graham Chapman was such a bad alcoholic.
Anyhow, they showed "Climbing the north face of the Uxbridge Road", one of my favorites.
As for favorite Eric Idle songs, my fave is the "Galaxy Song" since I am a science geek: "Just remember that you’re standing on a planet that’s evolving And revolving at 900 miles an hour...."

One of the Python documentaries I've seen had at least one of the troupe members say that before Graham quit drinking, he would sometimes show up drunk to tapings. I don't remember exactly which episodes they are, but there are several eps where you can definitely tell that Graham is performing "permanently pissed".
