On the Survivor finale on Wednesday, Probst said that Survivor would premiere on Feb 25 and be followed by the premiere of The Amazing Race. Is TAR moving to Wednesdays? No, the premiere will be 90 minutes on that Wednesday following the Survivor premiere, then TAR goes back to the Friday 8pm Eastern time slot.

I wish they'd move it back to Sundays, it doesn't feel like a Friday night show and I never remember it.

Same here, I didn't even realize there was a new season going on!

OK, Bethany is very nice and a tough competitor, but she needs a damn bra. I don't know why I never noticed it before, but tonight the girls are flopping all over the place and it's distracting as hell.
Also: Someone needs to slap the wrestlers. Hard.

That was one crappy ending.

I was pretty pleased with the ending -- nice to see a hometown girl win it all!

Well, that came out of nowhere.
I would have thought the Wrestlers would have spent some time in L.A., based on their profession. However, they might not be as smart as they look.
And Karma definitely watches this show. Be nice to others, or the cameras will catch you.
Congratulations to Team Candy Scientists! Good luck anyone remembering you in seven weeks when we return.

I'm glad the scientists won. No, they didn't get much of a "story" but they seemed nice and certainly one was an enthusiastic fan of the show. The wrestlers, well, the female wrestler, was just too awful for words, so I was thrilled when they were eliminated. When she wasn't being nasty, she was whining, which I just didn't find entertaining. The guy was more fun.
The dentists weren't quite as bad as I was expecting, but I'm still happy they didn't win. The surfers were equally boring as the scientists, in that her having one arm was their only story. And oh my god her voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me.
I'm not thrilled with the concept behind next season. Why does the show have to become a stupid dating show? Rather than make it about "couples" just have each team be made up of two strangers and forget the romance aspect.

I HATE next season's concept. HATE it.
I liked the scientists and am happy they won. I would have been happy with any of the final three, though - once the vile Brooke was gone, it was all good.

I was glad the scientists won, although I wouldn't have minded either of the other top 3 teams. It bugged me that Brooke went on and on about how unfair it was that there was no elimination at the end of Manila when she & Robbie benefitted from a non-elimimation last place finish, too.
I just read an interview with Amy and Maya. Amy said she had an MRI after the race, and she had 2 stress fractures in her lower pelvis. No wonder she ran funny!
