There was a little marathon on this past Friday nite and another is planned for this week. I missed last Fridays, why does Fox send me emails for their stupid new shows and not important info like that? I only signed up on the Arrested Development fan club page thingie to hear earth shaking news such as that.

Oh no, last night a coomercial during the mini marathon said this will be on Monday nights in the Fall. Well, they saved it for another season just to kill it against Monday Night Football!!

Stupid Fox. They do that to all the good shows.

Fox has issues. They are almost completely paranoid when any show they have doesn't make bank RIGHT NOW. They probably saved the show to avoid another massive PR nightmare (like Family Guy...do they really want to look stupid again?) But put it on a night that people are less likely to watch, or it ends up pre-empted, and Fox gets to cancel it and say "What? Nobody was actually WATCHING it."
I swear, if not for AD (House be damned...there's the looming paranoia in me about revisiting the House-Cameron thing, which just made me sick to no end), and maybe, if there's nothing else on, Nanny 911, I'd probably just outright stop watching Fox altogether.

But some shows work on Mondays on Fox, don't they? I didn't watch it, but I think Ally McBeal aired on Mondays.
I'm kinda happy with the new AD schedule. As of now, there's nothing on Monday night TV that I watch. But when AD starts its new season, that'll change.

Melrose Place at one point aired on Monday nights (I'm saying this with a little hopeful voice). This just means that all the cool people who don't watch football (or American Suck-Ball, as my British friend used to say) will be watching.

It's total counter-programming. Or, in FOXspeak, red state vs. blue. Fuck FOX for thinking nobody can enjoy both football and Arrested Development.

I'll finally be able to watch it with no conflict of interest--Monday's just about the only night I didn't have a must-watch show already scheduled, so I'm thrilled. I can definitely stand to miss part of Monday Night Football--those games are three stinkin' hours long, what's 30 minutes! Besides, if I miss any spectacular plays, they'll be replaying them during delays the whole night.
