I watched all the latest episodes on Saturday. I have to say I really enjoyed the gambling episode with Rollins. I did not see the undercover angle coming at all. I hope Declan becomes a series regular.
I didn't think much of Mariska's directorial debut. It didn't look or feel different than any other episode and I've seen that storyline done many times on a few procedural crime dramas, so I could see the end of the story about 5 minutes into it.
The downloaded child episode made my skin crawl, and the ending wasn't satisfying because the victim seemed damaged beyond repair that a $5M cheque wouldn't fix.
I know he's playing a super sick bastard, but I was happy for the return of Pablo Schreiber. I actually cried at the end.

I watch every week. I guess I'm just a glutton for punishment! It's better than watching The Following, I guess.
Last week's episode was incredibly suspenseful and William Lewis scares the absolute shite out of me. Seeing him on Orange is the New Black only makes me hate him even more.
I really disliked that child download episode, too. Creepy, sad and totally disappointing. That poor girl needs help for the rest of her life and her daughter as well.
And Donal Logue can come on as a regular for me and I'd be thrilled!
Edit: gluten does not equal glutton. HA!

SVU got a 16th season. Yay! I've been getting back into the show on Amazon, and was going to be so mad if that was just in time for it to be canceled.

Did anyone watch the Woody Allen/Polanski episode? Loved the sly dig at Goopy Paltrow. I guess in the Dick Wolf universe Ann Curry has her own Oprah-style talk show.

I did chuckle at the Goop reference. And that they threw a little bit of David O. Russell into their scummy director mash-up.
The highlight of the episode might have been Danny Pino in a towel, though.

I binged watched this show when I was between jobs. It's been on so long, the episodes from the early 2000s are almost quaint. "Did you know that people sometime misrepresent themselves on the Internet?" "What? No! Who would do such a thing?"

I caught an early season of the Mothership, and boy, those big hair/padded shoulder fashions of the early 90's look so dated today.

I haven't watched the original airings of SVU since Stabler left. I've been catching up on the new episodes on the Sunday marathons on USA. 10-12 eps in a row, yo. I'm still missing Elliot, and the chief. What happened to Munch? I know he was acting chief for a minute, and the actor retired, I just haven't come across his last episode/storyline yet. I do like the two new editions to the cast. I watched open jawed one evening as the new blonde lady's sister scammed, set up, and eventually robbed her blind. Dude.

I was totally thrown back when it was Danny that came out of the bathroom. Actually I think that scene was the first official "they're hooking up" moment. It's kind of hilarious to me that the show was so nonchalantly like yep, this is happening.
