I love L and O. I haven't watched a lot of the newer shows, but I am a big repeat watcher. Back in the mid '90's when they were on A and E all the time, it was must-see daily viewing with my neighbor. Cha CHING. I miss those days, bobbing our heads to the theme song, doing nothing for hours on end...

I only like to watch the last half, because I only like the "Order" part. But I do like the ones with Jerry Orbach.
I tried to watch Trial by Jury but I didn't know it was on, and on top of that, it looked kind of dumb.

It wasn't just looking] dumb, trust me. Also, Lennie's hair in Trial by Jury was just... off somehow.

So I'm not the only one with a weird amount of love for SVU? I always feel kind of skeevy when I watch and enjoy a show such as this, but you can't help it.
And it's not weird that, as an office assistant for a lawyer, I would hear the Cha Chung every time I opened a different door in the courthouse, right? Of course not.

I was hugely pregnant about five years ago and used to loll around in the afternoons watching "A Baby Story", then would change the channel as soon as that boring cop show repeat came on. Gradually, I ran out of other things to watch and saw an episode...I should have written that date down, because I was hooked. I remember Wednedsays rocked cuz I could see three eps...two during the day, one at night! It was fun figuring out the chronology of the show; I had no idea it had been on so long and had so many actors. (Those daytime repeats didn't always make sense, time wise).
Anyhoo, I have a hard time staying up all the way untill eleven to watch SVU (that darn kid is still wearing me out ;D) so I was wondering what is up with Stabler and Maureen? Last I remember she had left him. Any more mention of it?

L&O is my methadone. It is on cable a million times a day and I can just turn it on and bliss out for awhile.
I have found a real love for SVU in recent years, but that might have more to do with my crushes on Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni.
I have to admit I am not into Criminal Intent. It lacks something.
I will probably catch a bit of Trial by Jury because your best friend and Mine, Lennie will be on a few episodes. I think he was the best freaking cop on television. ever!

I just read Chris Noth is going to be on CI for half next year's 22 eps. He is "relieving" D'Onofrio from his exhaustion.
I love Det. Mike Logan!! I will be watching for him alone, although I like the rest of the ensemble too.
Oh, and I think Maureen is still split from her man, but I'm not sure.

Oh, and I think Maureen is still split from her man, but I'm not sure. Yes, they are still separated. I think this is one of the first seasons where the writers have gotten into the personal lives of the characters. Poor Stabler. He is really having a hard time holding it together. Anyone see the last episode w/ Matthew Modine guest starring? Stabler went ballistic at the end of the episode, bless his heart. I love this show w/ a fiery passion. Oh how I miss B.D. Wong!

SVU is my absolute favorite. I feel as though Fin and Munch aren't used as much as they could be. I love Olivia Benson, Cragen and Stabler even though he scares me sometimes. I also like M.E. Warner who is the unsung hero of SVU.
I actually like Casey Novak. I never understood why people hated her. Cabot was cool. I enjoyed it when she came back for that one episode, however she has a huge attitude so I don't really miss her.
If they are going to get into the characters back stories, I'd like it we got to see more of Novak. I once saw a huge plaque in her office which said "Thank You Casey Novak" I'd like to know what that was about.
Lenny Briscoe and John Munch will always be my faves. I bought H:LOTS just so I could see more of Munch.
