I saw a rerun the other night and was actually sad for Borgia, knowing she would be killed off soon, and meanly killed as well. I'm a kook.

After two years, Dennis Farina is leaving L&O (original) to pursue other projects. Doesn't seem as though he was kicked out.
For the first time, one of the detectives will be played by a woman:

Bravo, just ran the mothership episode where Mikey got sent to Staten Island. Now it Bennie Brat.
I like the idea of bringing Robinette back, anybody to piss off McCoy, or has Lesbianism been forgiven??

Now that L&O, Criminal Intent is on Bravo, I've been watching it. And, boy, do I think it sucks. At times it's almost like a parody. Det. Goren and his annoying idiot savant tics and Det. Eames and her crappy acting are bizarre to watch. If we're not snickering at the show, we're rolling our eyes at the bad writing.
SVU is so much better.

Last night's SVU premiere was great, but why did they move original recipe to Friday?

Because they're idiots?
The actual statement from NBC?

Aren't they up against some stiff competition in that slot now?
I read that L&O:Original is gong to have an ep about a rapper married to a pop star who gets in trouble for being neglectful with their baby. Pure fiction, that.

OOOh Mugsy, I saw the preview. It shows a dumb trashy blonde pop singer with chubby baby on hip, and "her rapper husband" decked out in cornrows and K-Fedwear. I never watch Original Recipe but even I might have to catch this one.

I saw the promo (probably during CI last night). If it wasn't obvious from the description, it was obvious from the casting.
As to time slot, I think CSI:NY was eating into the Wednesday audience, but they lost more when they moved it to 9pm. This year, "The Nine" is ABC's programming for the 10 pm slot. I'll be watching that, but would either tape it or watch CTV's later broadcast if L&O hadn't moved. The Friday slot might work better, where it's up against Numbers and 20/20. I watch neither, so I don't pay attention to ratings etc for them. We'll see when the ratings come out.
