Not just for the year -- I read on TWoP that when it's broken down demographically, for the 18-34 (or whatever, the young, highly coveted age bracket), it got the highest cable ratings ever. Ever.
Yeah, I totally think Nazi dad is gonna come back to bite Matt in the ass. I imagine next season is gonna focus a lot on Matt dealing with that and Cara Fitzgerald (which was supposed to come back this season!) - it's gonna be crazy, yo. Oh and since I think it may be the last season, since Ryan Murphy wants to go off and direct movies, Ava better come back. X3 is done filming, right?
Not that I would (okay, I might based on the Spain epilogue), but bonus points for coming up with the easiest ship name -- KitTen.

When the hell is this show coming back with season 4?? Its been a long time, hasn't it? The earliest it will be back is in the late summer/fall. FX tends to schedule shows funny.

F/X (and The Sopranos) must really have me trained because I don't think it's been long at all.

It used to be a summer show (June or July to Oct.) but they started S3 in Sept. to compete with network dramas. It worked in my case since I abandoned L&O: SVU for N/T. Last weekend I was wishing they would play reruns, at least late at night. S3 was only 15 episodes with the last two shown together, so that's why it seems like it's been gone forever while the other fall 2005-06 series are still going strong with 26 or so new episodes with breaks in between. We probably won't get S3 DVDs until the fall.

F/X (and The Sopranos) must really have me trained because I don't think it's been long at all. I was just thinking about this. I've found that I prefer 12 to 14 episodes of a series with excellent writing and acting over 24 episodes of a half-assed, network dulled cliche. I'd rather wait a year and a half for new Nip/Tuck with smart writing and a clear story arc than wait three months for aimless and plodding fare.

True, but HBO is almost constantly rerunning their old shows on one of their channels, or you can watch On Demand. I'm used to constant, if not new Sopranos.

I hope it's worth the wait. N/T is the kind of show where, if it was rushed, could end up being completely drab and cliche. I would rather wait and not be bored.

I am trying to avoid spoilers like the plague but holy frack, Catherine Deneuve?
I think I just creamed my pants.
Is she going to get the 24k gold facelift she's (allegedly) had?
The promos (which, for those who want to see them are generally being played right after the credits of Sunny in Philly) are making me highly intrigued. Goldfrapp! Strobes! Julia as a statue? Huh? I like how they dub it TV's "deeply superficial" series.
Because it so is. I think I did a paper on that very subject.
