That YouTube comes in handy for A LOT of British shows that I have to wait for. There are a few costume dramas coming in the new year that I was obsessively re-watching on YT.
I don't know when Season Three of Doctor Who be on here in the States. Perhaps the Summer?
LC, you're right, I think I was sad too knowing that was the end of Rose. Probably why I was sobbing like an infant.

I have no words to express how great David Tennant is.

I assume you watched the Panto? ;D
In one of the Doctor Who communities, there is a clip from Julie Gardner's BBC Wales interview, and at one point during the show, he calls in pretending to be someone else. It is hilariously adorable and awesome.
I just spent $10 on iTunes downloading songs from Blackpool. Damn you, Adorable Tennant! If any of you haven't seen it, you should. He manages to have a sex scene while singing without looking foolish (in my opinion). Plus the choreography for the "Boy with the Thorn in his Side" scene is brilliant.

I totally sobbed at the end. And then I sat there wailing "it's too sad" every five minutes throughout whatever we were watching after it. Actually, we caught five minutes of the end on TV again the other day, with the sound off and I was tearing up.
Stupid devastating TV show.

Well, I know what my computer will be doing in the late hours of Christmas Day.

LaconicDude makes fun of Rose in the last scene. Every time I watch it, he starts going, "Bloo bloo bloo bloo," which is what he says her crying (and talking) sounds like. I told him he would cry too if he were separated from the Doctor forever, but he continues anyway. He is mean. I think he is just jealous of David Tennant.

The Quatermass Experiment, quite possibly the worst television movie ever made, starring David Tennant and Torchwood's Indira "Suzie" Varma. I saw it in Rio de Janeiro and it was so mind-numbingly bad that I had to mention it here. I mean, so bad you need to see it. That bad.

bstewart, my internal response to your post was "David Tennant and Indira Varma did a movie together? Sweet!" "But he said it was bad" "But...David Tennant and Indira Varma!"
I know I'll end up tracking it down and hating myself for it.
My parents have been watching the show on SciFi so they didn't see the season finale until last night. I'm such a nerd that I called my mother at 10:01 to get her thoughts on it. Her response was that it was sad but she doesn't get why I bawled for an hour and that she found Mickey really hot which disturbed her.
I watched "Doomsday" the other day with David Tennant and Billie Piper's commentary and I have to say their giggle fits and general insane cuteness took some of the sting off of watching it.

I LOVED what she said about Mickey at the end. Take that, Mickey! No love! Their little kiss was cute, too.

svetlanamonsoon, the problem with The Quatermass Experiment is not Tennant and Varma (obv!), it's the script and direction. I couldn't be bothered to do any research (my bad), but it seemed very much like a 1960s radio play, very poorly mounted for television. At the climax, you don't even get to see anything. In fact, you could "watch" it with your eyes closed and know precisely what's going on -- "okay, now I'm going to punch in the data and... what's this? The readings are spiking?!?" -- and the climax is so underwhelming we actually howled with derisive laughter.
Alcohol was involved, so that didn't help.
