The Prisoner was one odd show, he'd be great.
Anyone enjoy the kisses Captain Jack gave Rose and the Doctor when he said goodbye? The Doctor's was a trifle longer I believe. I'm sure there is some interesting slash out there on that!
When Rose had all that power, did she return life to all earthlings or just Jack? Sometimes we miss stuff here.

Eccleston seems to have a good relationship with Russell Davies (they worked together on The Second Coming too), so I wouldn't be surprised if he does show up, but he's been so brilliantly eclectic with his career choices, I can understand why he didn't want to be typecast. As much as I would have loved to have him as the doctor for at least another season, it's such an iconic role that I think he made the right decision.

Most of you have seen the 2nd season already, but it was new to me last nite on Sci Fi. Almost like the "new" Doctor! The many commercials of Sci Fi were getting on our nerves though.
Does the rest of the season have continue with kissy times between Rose and the Doctor? All I can say is that sexual tension has changed since Tom Baker was on.

I like the "new" Doctor. I love Christopher Eccleston, but David Tennat's pretty good.
I was tired last night and just couldn't focus on the episodes as much as I wanted to, damn Sci Fi channel--can't they replay them during the week? I mean they overload us on episodes of Stargate and Battlestar Galactica--but I need more Doctor Who.

I was a bad, bad person and acquired the second season through... alternative means. Simply a teaser before actually laying down cash for the DVD set, Mr. BBC-Snoop!
I especially liked "The Impossible Planet / Satan Pit" episodes which, for a mean atheist like me, were more interesting than they ought to have been. I've heard reports from friends in London that Russell T. Davies is... difficult to work with, tends to "polish" scripts by removing the most clever elements and is an all-around beyotch.
Which I find a bit tough to swallow, since I've met him and he's as delightful as your aunt.
If your aunt was 6'3" and really smutty, I mean.

Loved this past episode with the creepy, masked clockwork robots. Nightmare inducing! What a great scifi show! One that has me going to the library to read more about Madame Pompadour.

I think... I might be falling in love with Doctor Who. There, I said it.

I think... I might be falling in love with Doctor Who. There, I said it. Last week's evil clockwork robots? Yeah, totally creeped me out. I mean, to the point where I was watching through my fingers. I don't do well with evil clown looking dolls. However, David Tennant, while no Christopher Eccleston, is awesome as the Doctor. I've got such a crush on him.

I haven't seen the clockwork robots yet. And CBC has pre-empted it this week for some stupid miniseries. I looked up the DVDs but they are too expensive for me. And I too love David Tennant. I've only seen one with Christopher Eccleston, so I can't really compare. I just love the Doctor/Rose relationship. But I read about what happens at the end of the second season and now I am sad.

So, I was talking to our lead developer at work this morning and he said "so, what do you think of Torchwood?" and I'm all "oh, they're going to do that spin-off after all?" and he's all "it's already started" and I'm all "what?!?!?" and then I'm all "it's a good thing we have a really fast internet connection here at the office."
Captain Jack! Has anyone seen it? Does it warrant a new thread?
