I haven't seen Torchwood (is it even airing over here yet?), but there are three episodes up at TV Underground... which I am certainly not using to acquire Doctor Who episodes. I would never do anything like that, of course. Ever. (Stupid expensive DVDs.) Meanwhile, I have been watching the Doctor Who season two finale ending on YouTube and crying like the loser I am. Here is the list of Torchwood episodes.

It wouldn't totally not be wrong to not do to Torchwood what I didn't not do to not acquire Doctor Who. I really like it. It's got a good, strong female lead, too.

Well I am certainly glad we have an employee account (not mine) with the cable company that gives us a super-fast Internet connection and a really high ...bandwidth?... limit. For completely unrelated reasons, like... legal game demos. Really big ones.
I must say, I am intrigued by the idea of Captain Jack heading a series. Even though I haven't seen any episodes with him in them, because I am a Doctor Who newbie.

I am really enjoying Torchwood. Gwen is great. And I'm fascinated by where they're going with Captain Jack. Can't wait for that back-story, especially things like how long it's actually been since he parted ways with the Doctor and Rose, and what he's been doing, and how he got back to this time. He's crankier and more authoritative than he was on Doctor Who, and I really want to know how he got that way.
On topic: Doctor Who is awesome. Have you guys got to the end of Season 2 (well, season whatever it is) yet? I do not wish to spoil it if you haven't. Because OMG.

I haven't seen anything else (by which I mean I've seen three episodes of season 2, one episode of season 1, and that's about it... I actually feel ashamed that I'm so into it while having seen so little), but as I said, I've been crying over the ending of the season 2 finale on YouTube. Because I'm a loser. I made my boyfriend watch it, but he made fun of me. And Rose.

Oh, but you must see the rest! It makes the end of S2 so much more devastating. I cried, and whimpered, and sat there for twenty minutes saying, "THAT WAS TOO SAD!" every minute or so. Even my fiance, who has been an enormous Doctor Who fan since his childhood, thought I was nuts. Actually we flicked the last twenty minutes on again the other night, and I cried again.
Rose is a fantastic character, and Billie has been brilliant, which was pretty unexpected when the series started - a lot of people were really dubious when she was cast (given that she was a teen poptart), but she's been awesome. Can't wait to see her in the TV film of The Ruby in the Smoke from the Philip Pullman book.

I think I am too attached to Rose (and her relationship with the Doctor). I already hate the new chick.
I will see the rest of the finale eventually (and the rest of the series) when it finishes ...not... downloading hopefully this weekend. *shifty eyes*
If only I didn't have work to do! Then I could watch it all in two or three days!

Part of me wants to go....not....download this too. But I sort of like watching it on the SciFi channel (which I hope gets a hold of Torchwood as well...please...get Torchwood) because I like having to wait and the anticipation...

I watched Torchwood. Oh, Jack.
Also, I am sick of the three billion helicopter shots each episode, and Gwen seems a bit boring. It's like she has no spark or something. And Owen looks like a lizard. Hm... perhaps he is from a lizard planet.

I like Gwen a lot, actually. The actress was in the second or third Eccleston episode, and she was quite different. so I think she's a decent actress. We're three or four episodes in now, and I'm enjoying it. I am really looking forward to finding out Jack's back story, as to what happened between his resurrection and coming to Torchwood, coming back in time. He's become a lot more focused and cranky than he was in Doctor Who, and I am very keen to find out what's happened to him, and how long it's actually been for him since that happened.
I too am way too attached to Rose. I'm prepared to give the new girl a chance, but I'm worried. They had better have a proper mourning period for the Doctor. If he jumps straight into another superduper companion relationship, I'm going to be very upset.
