Double post! Anyone watching the movie?! I was a backer and it was available on Amazon and iTunes before the backers got their access codes. On Flixster, which is a POS. It kept kicking me out of streaming the movie, and then when I went to install their app (so I can download the movie without worrying about the streaming), it kept installing to 100% and then back to 70%, etc, about five times. It wasn't possible to get backers an iTunes or Amazon code? I'm kinda hatin' on them right now since the movie was up when I woke up this morning and now my ass wants to get in bed and I'm still messing with the damned thing. (I'm not dumb. I did computer tech support for a couple years. )

I watched it! I rented it actually so I'll probably try to watch it again before the 24 hours are up. It really did give fans a bit of everything they wanted, I think. It's weird to have a mystery wrapped up in 1.5 hours rather than the normal series time period of lots of episodes. It's funny that after all this time and having seen Kristen Bell in other roles, I totally buy her as the Veronica Mars character even as Dax Shephard shows up.

I'm watching it right now and annoyed by the presence of Piz. I'm sure the show will redeem itself, but really? Thank God that Dick showed up to brighten my mood.
Logan leaning against the convertible; Logan and Veronica riding together in the convertible; the giant bitch fight at the reunion; Veronica punching out that high school bitch. Was loving it until Piz showed up again. Blah.
Ended up enjoying it quite a bit. I screamed a couple times in shock and fright - this was pretty dark. The LoVe scene was so passionate. They still sizzle together and damn - Kristin Bell really sold that scene.
I still think the presence of Piz was unnecessary. The great job and the bad parts of her history should have been enough to make her decision whether or not to go back tough. I think that including Piz was kind of lazy. In real life, most people aren't involved in love triangles yet they break up or never get together due to relocation a lot.
Nothing like live-blogging my post. Ha. I'm such a dork. Anyway, if you haven't seen it but liked the show, I'd say tune in. I haven't ruined any of the mystery.

I think that including Piz was kind of lazy. In real life, most people aren't involved in love triangles yet they break up or never get together due to relocation a lot. Completely agree. They could have conveyed the idea that Veronica can't resist the pull of fighting corruption in Neptune, nor the pull of Logan, despite the fact that he was accused of murdering his girlfriend (Again) without digging up Piz. No one cared about Piz back in season three, including Veronica - he could barely keep Veronica's attention back then, so why would she hook up with him again? It would be enough that Veronica was leaving her life/career in New York behind, it didn't have to include Piz (or any dude for that matter). I did enjoy the movie, though. It made me want a refreshing DIET PEPSI and then text about it on my SAMSUNG PHONE or SAMSUNG TABLET. One of the cute, small ones! (I know they had to find ways to fund the movie, but the product placement was out of control a bit). It was great seeing everyone again (Mac's hair was awesome at the reunion and Wallace got hot!). Gabby Hoffman was hilarious as the stalker. I wish we could have gotten a bit more with Veronica and Keith - they really do have the best father/daughter relationship. It really left me wanting more overall (I know that they are writing some books, but it's not quite the same). I wish Netflix or someone would pick it up. They definitely proved that there was still interest nearly a decade after the show ended. Now Logan fans, don't kill me for this (I like Logan too) but dude has got some delicate little girl habits that crack me up. Back in season one when he and Veronica first hooked up and he was actually happy for once in his life, the dude skipped. Like a little girl with pigtails - he skipped. Then in the movie there's a scene where he and Veronica are in the kitchen and he grabs a spoon to open the pop top on his refreshing DIET PEPSI so he wouldn't have to use his delicate little fingers. I don't know if it's all a Jason Dohring thing or just some odd acting choices he's made for this character, but they completely crack me up. Especially thinking about badass Veronica dating someone who has to open his soda can like your great aunt who doesn't want to ruin her nails.

Ha. Logan was always a little eccentric that way. I also thought he looked dorky in his Navy uniform. As for the product placement, I noticed the Samsung but somehow missed the Pepsi. And yes, Netflix - pick this up!

Watched it and liked it despite only knowing the original show by reputation. I hope they make another movie. Logan is the dorky geeky cute guy next door I wish I had grown up next door to.

Has anyone caught the Dick Casablancas trailers (where the guy who plays Dick tries to convince people that the world needs a series about Dick)? They're really funny.

I watched the movie recently and I really enjoyed it. I would definitely watch another one. Damn, I love Veronica and Logan together.

Just ordered the DVD from Amazon, I had always heard about this show but never watched it. Talk about being late for the party!
