I think given how much time has passed that we can openly discuss the last season with spoilers.

Jason Dohring is a scientologist?! I'm new to the Veronica Mars world and this was not something I knew before. I thought he was good as Logan, but I also hate supporting scientology so maybe I'm fine with the ending now. A little part of me thinks that maybe Jason Dohring was okay with Logan being killed off because Logan was seeing a psychologist who was encouraging him in his decisions and wanting to get married to Veronica. She was also the last person (other than Veronica) that he 'talked' to via her answering machine. Psychiatry kills! (TM $cienotogoy) But really, if that nut job that was doing all the bombs got some psychiatric help LOGAN MIGHT STILL BE ALIVE.

I've been binge-watching Veronica Mars, I'm currently only on Season 2. Having only watched season 1 and the movie when this was first on, I completely forgot what how bad Duncan was. I can't tell if its because the actor is awful or is the character just one dimensional?
Has Hulu PG-13'd the show? I can't remember the exact scene, but I could have sworn there was a scene in Season 1 where logan made a hand gesture that had his ring finger and thumb down. I was shocked that UPN let that hand gesture air, but now I don't recall seeing it in Season 1.

The actor explained it as he played his role in a detached way bc his character had the issues that were mentioned through the series. Anyway he isn’t acting anymore (went to law school).

But... I hear Hulu DID change the very beginning of ep one. It allegedly didn't start out with the same scene that aired originally. Which is... kinda weird. I haven't verified it, though. (I have the DVDs and own it on Amazon. I'm that fan.)

I knew I wasn't crazy! I don't even recall ever watching season 2, maybe I watched a few episodes when it originally aired? But for some reason, that hand gesture was embedded in my mind. Lol My thoughts on season 2 - confusion mainly. What happened to Alicia? She kind of just disappeared. It seemed like her and Keith were reconciling, then poof! Never saw her again. The Duncan - Veronica - Logan love triangle makes absolutely no sense to me. Duncan is very blah and Veronica and him together was very blah. Minus a few episodes in season 1, I never could tell if she loved Duncan or not, even when they were together. Logan and Veronica have chemistry, but they also shouldn't be together, they both have issues they need to deal with. I know Logan and Veronica end up getting back together in the movie, which makes sense since they both have some growing up to do and probably shouldn't be a couple in high school or college.

I think sometimes couples get together for an experience or a phase in their life, and that seemed to me what Duncan and Veronica's relationship was. When everything seemed great in the world, enjoying their innocent high school lives, stupid antics, risks within parental boundaries, etc. And Veronica and Logan's relationship was rooted in personal tragedy.
Honestly, how many of our friends' high school relationships make any sense once we know who they turn out to be.
But yeah, Duncan was boring, but long-haired super blonde cheerleader Veronica seemed kinda boring too.

I remember that interview, and he seemed super-defensive in a way that was kinda sad. Like, I get it isn't fun dealing with crazy Logan fans, but...I've seen him do a guest turn on another show, and his acting chops were about the same. I don't think he can blame it all on a misunderstood acting choice. I'll just say that he was wise enough to know that a career move would be good for him and made the right choice.

It's probably why I had such an issue with them getting back together because I felt like they both were at different parts of their lives by that time and getting back together made no sense. I've also really enjoyed all the guest stars they've had. I've seen a couple of Hallmark stars (don't judge me!), Marvel, and WB. Their casting department did well.
