Decided to binge watch the 3 seasons this summer (and then read the books that came after, followed by the movie) so I can be prepared and refreshed for some frackin' new episodes coming to Hulu.
And now I've got the theme song stuck in my head.

I LOVED the series when it first aired. It made me a Kristen Bell fan. I was deeply disappointed when the show ended, but didn't follow it when it got its revival. Unpopular opinion coming--I hate Logan. I hate that Veronica chose him. I hate that she forgave him. I didn't and still don't give a fuck about his pain. He was so irredeemably hateful and cruel, I cannot even fathom how the show allowed them to become a romantic coupling. It was vile to witness. I didn't see the chemistry between them. At all. Ever. Just hatred and cruelty from a spoiled, rich bully. I believe they're married in the new iteration or at least still together, and I cannot abide it. It is one of the most disappointing and baffling story turns in my tv viewing history.

I also have the first season on DVD, yes, I loved it that much. But I have no idea what happens in 2 & 3 and I've been looking for it everywhere to binge.

I think all three seasons will be on Hulu after July 1st in the run-up to the new season launch.
The first season is the strongest. I actually didn’t care for the third season much.

Yes, it's coming to Hulu starting July 1st. I had downloaded the series to my computer from the DVDs. And I didn't love the third season either. First season was the strongest and I didn't hate the second season, but it was still better than the third. And I had the movie from the Kickstarter event, but I might just need to borrow the books from a friend or a library.
A part of me kinda liked Logan (but only in certain episodes), but not enough to forgive him or want Veronica to pick him. He did have some redeemable qualities when she was in need of help, but maybe because everyone else around her (sans her father) had zero idea what she was going through since most of them either died, fled the country, or were in prison. Yes, her BFF Wallace knew a lot and so did Mac, but they didn't know Lilly or really anything that happened prior to meeting Veronica.

I didn't particularly like any of of Veronica's love interests during the show. Duncan was kind of a wimp. Logan was an ass, Piz was a wet noodle.
But I actually didn't mind the Veronica/Logan pairing during the movie. Logan had matured significantly, and was actually doing something with his life.

How did I forget that Paul Rudd had a special guest star role in the last season?! Re-watching this show so many years later has me playing a game of "Guess Who?" with all these stars that are now doing big and better things. When a really young, random looking guest shows up I'm left thinking,"Wait, I know them. How do I know them?!" And then I come to a surprised realization.
It's been fun for the most part and yet reminds me how Season 3 was just all over the place.

How did I forget that Paul Rudd had a special guest star role in the last season?! Wait—what? Who did he play? I swear I have a weird sense of time when it comes to Paul Rudd. I always rethink he was really famous much earlier than he was. I remember thinking “damn! How did they get Paul Rudd!?” when he was cast as Mike on Friends. Re-watching this show so many years later has me playing a game of "Guess Who?" with all these stars that are now doing big and better things. YES! Most recently for me was Tessa Thompson in Creed and Marvel movies.

How did they get Paul Rudd!?” when he was cast as Mike on Friends. Only the BEST guest spot! He played a one half of an aging 90s music duo, where he's basically riding the coattails of his deceased counterpart. He plays the role in true snarky Paul Rudd fashion, including SINGING. My fave episode from this season. Little Snippet of him during the episodeYES! Most recently for me was Tessa Thompson in Creed and Marvel movies. Exactly! And I see sort of low-key guest stars that now have starring roles in TV shows like the guy that is the lead in "New Amsterdam" was Logan's real half-brother that he never knew about, a chick from Glee, Leighton Meester, of course Amanda Seyfried (plus Aaron Samuels from Mean Girls), Adam Scott, really the list goes on and on. Some are small fries, while others are bigger potatoes.
